I find it easy to use; the distributor and tamper work well. The look and feel are great. The one niggle is really minor; there is a rubber base to put the device on and protect it, but it does not fit. For the money, the two-in-one from such a respected brand seems good.

A: The spring is for a consistent tamping pressure. “Calibrated” it should be either 25 or 30psi

This is the V1.1 model, the internal structure has been further improved. It is also the latest model for the Combo.
