i love knives. i have knife addiction. i don't know why. tried to fight it but im just not able to kick the addiction lol. i guess it's in my blood to be attracted to knives! anyway before i talk about the many good things about this knife i want to talk about one annoyance i have. when i got this knife, the blade was wrapped in plastic and placed inside the sheath. this is a no no! how can a knife company not know this?! that knives cannot be stored in the sheath for long periods of time and you can't wrap plastic around the blade either!!! who knows how long this knife have been stored in this manner. it looks like a long time bc when i removed the knife from the sheath and plastic the blade had blemishes! it was like water stains on your car after the rain. the blemishes were so bad it didn't come off until i wiped the blade down w/Remington gun lubrication wipes and i had to use 2 wipes!!! eventually it did come off and the blade was polished like a shining mirror. c'mon, you don't store knives like that. if you aren't planning on using your knife, it needs to be stored separately from it's sheath. many people don't understand that you only use a sheath if you are carrying the knife somewhere like out camping or on a combat mission. sheaths are not intended for long term storage. like for example, Ka-Bar knives ships their knives separate from it's sheath. the blade is inserted into a paper cardboard, which is the ideal way to store knives long term. Ka-Bar knows. i thought i get that out of the way first. now on to the knife. this knife is SEXY. not bad for a $60 knife (including tax). i love the handle made of rosewood. the blade looks like a Tanto style blade so it's ideal for piercing. it's very sharp and it's D2 steel!! yes it is made in china but not everything made in china is crap. im impressed they can make a knife for around $60 that looks this good and performs so well. for around $60 i am comfortable taking this knife out on errands and beating it up. i don't like using knifes that cost over $100 bc im afraid to dirty up something that expensive. those kind of knives are just for show imo. i mean seriously, why would you want to rough up a knife that cost $300?! that's like taking your nice Lambo off roading. i also like the sheath that came w/this knife. it's leather and it is beautiful. usually when you buy a good knife the sheath usually sucks but w/this knife you also get a very pretty sheath. it turned heads when i wore it outside. this knife came right in time a day before my friend's BBQ. i took this knife, hooked it up to my belt, and took it to the BBQ where i used it to cut meat and hotdogs and burgers. it cut flawlessly! i gut those red meat no problem!!! people at the BBQ thought i lost my mind lol. in summary, this knife is worth the price. for only around $60 you'll get a very handsome knife w/good functionality that will make any man look more manly than before!!! it's not easy to find a D2 blade at this price range. if i was you i would grab this knife before it's gone.

All the positive comments on finish and design are true. The blade’s shape allows for a thumb-reinforced grip for added power. Fits the hand very well and naturally. Perfect blend of survival, fighting, and utility functions with minimal compromises. Comes very sharp. Needs to be cleaned and oiled on arrival due to being in the sheath during storage and shipment. Very minor blemishes had to be rubbed out, took less than a minute. Handsome tool.

I collect knifes and I was really impressed by the quality of this knife ! I was so impressed I bought two of these. One for my collection and was to use for my all around carry hunting and camping blade ! Very very sharp and great steel ! Awesome blade !!!

A good solid, rugged knife and quality sheath. Handle length is might feel too small for anyone large hands. Ok for mine, mr. average.

Awesome knife. I use it to cut food on the boat. It can be used to cut bread, vegetables, and sandwiches. It all went well. For the fun of it I cut some smaller branches of the tree in my back yard as well to clear the path. It all went well. I would recommend it as general purpose knife.

Nearly indestructable steel with great craftsmanship on the the handle and sheathe especially utterly immaculate the tie at the end of the handle was even tied perfectly uniform to each side if you need a bush craft knife that wont bend dull slowly this is the one

It was a really beautiful knife that's why I bought it because I have some of their other knives which are great quality this one however fell through the cracks the Tang is sticking out of the handle with an edge that is sharp making you scrape your hand both on the finger grips and on the back makes it unusable tried to figure out how to contact the company they say 24/7 customer service don't know how to find that or I would have contacted them directly other than that it's a beautiful knife just this one is unusable I'm hoping they can get a hold of me so I can get it replaced I really did not want to leave a one star but I have no other way to get a hold of it I don't know. I hope to contact me Update to the review the company got a hold of me as soon as I had left this review I still don't know how to contact them directly but they do respond to your comments very kind very courteous they will send me a new one as soon as they're back in production it's still an excellent knife this one just happened to slip through the cracks recommend the company completely as I own another one of their knives and it's excellent my everyday carry
