I loved the length. I did not like that it no longer works. I have not had it 2 months yet. I plug it in and my phone starts blinking between charging and not charging. I thought I read somewhere they stand by their cords. I will let you know if that is true or not based on the response I get. Update: Not only does Vtech stand by its products, but they clearly care about their customers. It took them less than a day, to not only reach out to me, but to replace my cord, 2x. Yes, they have shipped me two cords. It’s rare a company goes out of its way to ensure a customer is satisfied after the sale. I will check back in a few months. If the cords work beyond 2 months I will absolutely add a 5th star. LATEST UPDATE Just added the 5th star. Both cords have worked perfectly.

I got this phone charger specifically because I needed a long cord to wrap around my bed to reach the outlet. It’s a great length, super cute color and I haven’t had any issues with charging since I got it a few months ago. My cats have a tendency to go after wires, so the cord being braided was also a must. After three months my kitty has not gotten through it, so this product gets an A+ from me. I will note that the quality of my cord (while good for me) gives the impression that it may be inconsistent or poor for other chargers through the same manufacturer.

I purchased this 12” usb cable from vCharged awhile ago (it has a 1year warranty). At first it was great. Two months pass & I started getting an error message about the cable. The usb cable would only charge my device intermittently, half the time when I went to use my device, it was to discover it was dead...no charge! Immediately I contacted the vendor through their vendor link (sent a 2nd email after 1st email didn’t get a response) to report this error...I never received a reply from the vendor. My third time to contact Amazon, they told me to email the manufacturer ... [email protected] about the defect, as that, they were the one who was to replace my cable. I waited 2 weeks for a response......NO RESPONSE After my 3rd attempt to contact vCharged and my 4th with Amazon, Amazon offered me a refund for my original purchase. I am greatly disappointed in the vendor, seeing as they didn’t replace my cable as their offer page described. I enjoyed the length of the cord, allowing me the freedom to have my device charging while using it away from the electrical outlet. As to the quality of the cable, I would say it’s poorly made. It stopped charging correctly after 2 months and then the metal tip that inserts into the device broke apart inside my Apple device (it was a challenge to get it out)! If asked to buy this usb cable again, my answer would be no. As will I never buy anything else made or advertised by vCharge.

I have bought tons of these charging cables on Amazon over the years. I have always looked for these guarantees that promise to replace, and I am telling you, they never follow through. I always have to grovel to Amazon to make it right and end up getting a refund a month or so after purchase when these cords fizzle out and quit working. Well let me tell you, almost 6 1/2 months after using this 12' Longest Pink Lightning Cable day in and day out, it has all of a sudden quit working. And I am talking heavy use with three kids, a husband and myself, dogs walking over it, etc. I messaged the good people at vCharged about the cable not working and asked about the 12 month warranty, and got a near immediate response! They replaced my cable immediately! LOVE the customer service here! I will be buying from them forever! I LOVE the 12' long cable because it can reach all the way to my recliner!! Thanks so much!!

Update: I have now purchased two cords and it’s an absolute waste of money. If you buy it... just throw them out and get another one. Because literally that’s what it is worth. First one worked great, then then metal piece broke off inside my charge port and it was useless. I had to struggle to get it out of my phone, because I couldn’t charge it otherwise. Purchased a second one on March 30, 2020 because I didn’t know about the warranty. I didn’t get it for like a month, so I’ve been actually using it about 2.5 months and it stopped working. It will not recognize it is plugged into my phone. So here I go, off to buy yet another cord.... but not from this company that’s for sure.

I bought this item in July. The length is perfect and I was very happy with the cord but now (October 2) it's coming apart. The casing came loose from the lightning connector side and I'm afraid it's only a matter of time before the cable stops working. It's beyond the return date and at first I couldn’t find a way to contact the seller so I looked at previous reviews and found an email address for support. I sent an email with the picture I included here and a couple days later, I received a response telling me that they are sending me replacements..... yes, they are sending me 2 cords to replace the one that is starting to fail. That tells me a lot. I would recommend buying if you need the length. They will make sure you are happy. Great Work VCharged!

Initially, this appears to be a fairly well built cable and the cordage seems fairly resilient to filth. Being electrum-colored I assumed it would look like trash in a few weeks but it holds up rather well even after being left out on the floor every day. It does seem to be fully supported by iOS. My problem with it is the aluminum cowling on the Lightening end of the cord has already become unglued and it easily slides off, and if I don’t find some glue soon I’m going to lose it. I’ve had it for less than a month! It otherwise seems adequate, but being priced to be in the “premium” cord market I call “nah-uh”. Note to vendor: Drop the price on this as there are better woven-sheathed cords out there for about the same price that don’t fall apart, but I have had a hard time finding them in the gigantic 10’ and 12’ lengths which are great for being able to charge your phone while doing whatever without being leashed to the electrical outlet.

I have an iPhone 6s and for some reason non-apple (3rd party) cables stopped working on my phone's lightning port right after the new iphone 7 came out (coincidence??). So I have only been able to get it to work with cables directly from apple -- but apple cable's aren't long enough, so I figured I would try this one out and I'm glad I did. It actually works! Even with my picky phone. I can't believe how great the quality is of this cable! Very happy with it. It's got strong metal ends and braided cable the whole length. Works great and is long enough to use my phone when I'm in bed and have it plugged in to charge.
