Using Vartech rps for our testing facility performance is top notch
Initially we had purchased 2 units in 2024 and we are using them continuously for all our projects. We recently purchased another unit and the performance has been the same. Always dependable. Old unit was sent for service and they returned the unit in 3-4 days after repair. Overall very happy with the product and support.

Very good quality power supply. Stable output
This is our third vartech power supply. Build quality is very good. Heavy transformer is used and the output pausing is helpful. No issues till date. Tech support is also very good as usual from VAR TECH.

Measured the output current and voltage with standard multimeter and found the supply good enough. Worth to have it in lab at home or even at professional laboratory.

Good product with occasional overheating issues, no output cables included
Transformer based power supply. Goes up to 32v 5Amps. The fine tuning knob is a little finicky, I have a tough time precisely setting the values. It is a minor inconvenience. It did not come with leads and I had to scramble to find something that fits. I have used it few times so far and it works fine. Quality of switches and plastic is good. The display is also quite nice. I feel it is about 1k more than other competing products. Update Apr 2026: Downgrading from 4 to 2 stars After using for several years, have one major observation to share. When using at higher power levels (>1 amp), it cuts out every few seconds. I use it occasionally to charge lead acid batteries (14v @ 2 amps are greater), and every time I noticed this behavior. After much head-scratching, I have come to the conclusion that this is due to overheating. The heatsinks/cooling for the main power transistors are inadequate. Its unacceptable that a device rated for 150w cannot handle 25w. Mind you this doesn't happen at lower power levels.
