Knitting Kit - Beginner Knitting Supplies with Wool Yarn, Needles, Instructions, DIY Gift

I bought this because it was on an angel tree request and then I got another one for my granddaughter. What a nice way to start knitting. The kit had everything required and good instructions.

This kit is well thought out and perfect for that beginning child or adult. The presentation is perfect for gifting - bright and cheerful, too. I liked that this kit uses a pretty color wool as a teaching fiber, as that is a better fiber to learn on in my opinion and what I learned on. The bamboo needles are basic but they get you started and allow the right size stitch for learning. That's important. The printed instructions are very good but the video link is excellent and user friendly. (We all love a great video and teacher for presenting new skills.) Rudimentary techniques are carefully taught and it would be hard not to understand the concept(s) they are teaching. Not overwhelming for a novice - just enough. This kit will definitely get you started knitting and build confidence so you can grow and explore how wonderful the knitting world can be...on to shawls, hats, and simple garments for all your friends. Great creative looping fun linking us back to other humans sometime between 500 AD and the 12th century when it all began. My friend's daughter will enjoy this kit and perhaps teach her friends - another knitting circle begins.

Almost perfect. Would have given 5 stars if the box wasn’t slightly damaged and opened at the corner. Next time be mindful putting the product in the box.

My biggest complaint here is one of the projects is a stuffed bunny with black eyes. There is no stuffing or black yarn for that project. I thought maybe I overlooked this in the description. Nope. No mention that parts of one project will not be included. Also, the yarn is very cheap and unwinds too easily. Which, for a beginner, was a pain. I didn't want to by more supplies until i was sure this was a hobby I wanted, but I had to buy better yarn! Now, the pros are a very well thought put guide book. I wasn't annoyed by the online videos and they were helpful. The bamboo needles are comfortable in my hands

Cute for a beginning knitter to learn with.

This is a great little kit I bought for myself as a Christmas gift, since I wanted to learn to knit. The first project was a bunny - I thought, it looks hard and why do I need one anyway - BUT - it was actually really easy and everyone loves it! I used some cotton balls to stuff it, but you could use the yarn from the kit if you prefer. I can now see how easy it will be to do the second project, based on what I did here. So it's very encouraging! There's plenty of yarn in the package, instruction book, online videos - everything I need. (I did add some of my own green yarn for the eyes.) The needles are a lightweight wood, which is so much better for beginners than the metal ones, which can be too slippery. Sure, the photos in the booklet could be better, but the free online videos they provide are very detailed and very clear. This is a great kit!

As an experienced knitter for more than 45 years, I was able to create beginning knitting kits for underr $6.00 and I had more projects in my own written instructions. I purchased this for myself to learn how to knit and move on to more complex projects. Really easy to follow directions, videos, and I loved the yarn and knitting needles, plus the projects. I actually lost the directions on a trip, and emailed the company asking for a PDF. I was so delighted to get an answer the same day and a PDF of the instructions. Kudos to this company. Nice product and while I could have bought yarn and needles and figured out stuff from an online video, having someone put the right yarn, needles and projects together for me gave the the impetus to get going and do this.
