Excellent value for the money. The telescoping handle is a great feature and adjusts to fit virtually any tank depth, making it convenient and easy to store. It worked great for catching my shrimpies and handling small fish. The sturdiness does feel a bit clunky, so you’ll want to treat it with care. That said, for the price, it’s hard to beat. Solid bargain overall.

I got this small net for my aquariums and it’s been really useful. It’s the perfect size for catching shrimp or small fish without stressing them out, and it moves easily through the water. The handle feels sturdy, and the mesh is soft enough that it doesn’t harm delicate fins. It’s also great for scooping out leftover food or debris without disturbing the whole tank. really nice for what you get! Very extendable (i have two 10Gs), well-sewn/good materials, only cons are that the net traps air bubbles so you learn very quickly to put the net bottom up first to get all the air bubbles, and it gets dirty very easily if you're not using it just for water/catching. It will catch daphnia, mosquito larvae (harvest, don't farm!), etc. It will fold on small livestock if you're not careful though, and the smaller holes make it so the water will have flow resistance compared to other cheap (wide-holed) fish nets

MAJOR EDIT! This is NOT perfect for DAPHNIA or BRINE SHRIMP, It does catch most newly hatched brine shrimp, but not 100%. For four bucks and some change, this isn't a bad deal. (I was skeptical about it rusting... It's now 7 months later, and no rust.) This net extends to a shocking length and converts back to its short original state. Making it perfect for a deep or shallow tank or container. The net is smaller than I thought, but that's a good thing because it will do well for the tiny containers I will use for my Daphnia Cultures. (LOL that culture didn't last long.) If you've read this far, I also want you to know that I ordered this net last night, which arrived around noon today. SUPER FAST SHIPPING. (Yeah, I had Prime) I also like how the net folds to a flat shape, almost like a piece of origami paper. It folds in and perfectly rests against the wall (if it's hanging). I'll give it a 5 STAR RATING. (If you want a net that will catch all BRINE SHRIMP, then definitely go with a higher quality net)

I was specifically looking for a small net with fine mesh so tiny fish fry wouldn’t slip through, and this net is exactly what I needed. Its function is great it works smoothly and gently, making it easy to scoop fry without stressing them. Worked very well to remove all my neocaridina shrimp from there tank, for tank clean up. Even removed the babies safely. You do need to pay special care when using it- but that willbe with anyone you order. Much better for shrimp than a regular fish net.

Good at catching dirt in the water but bends very easily so be careful.
