Perfect!
This is, in my opinion, one of the first things you should change out. I was constantly leaving my lights on, but now it stays on auto and works like a charm. Extremely easy to swap, it's a no-brainer for me

Factory fit. Easy install.
Easy install, fits factory harness and clips and plugs right in. No tools. Light sensor is not adjustable but works for me. In auto position lights cut on immediately when I enter parking garage and quickly turn off when leaving garage. Sadly parking light position on this switch does nothing on my car. I have 2012 VW Golf TDI with halogen headlights and fog lights.

Works in a '15 VW Passat
'15 VW Passat. Allows the use of fog lights with only the parking lights on. No need to use the headlights for fogs to work. I prefer this instead of the DRLs (no rear lights are on when DRLs are on).

Overall amazing product for price but....Not a good OEM fit on 2014/17 GLI/GTI. Cheaper feel.
Pros -Great product for the price. -Works perfect (month in, at time of review.) -Plug and play. -Many features/modes -Built in light sensor Cons -Cheaper feel/quality then OEM. -Not a snug OEM fit on our GLI '14/17 and GTI '17. -Some models need minor programing for certain features as shown in the sellers ad. Still easy to do or just leave with initial setup. Overall- Our models did not have the auto light or rear fog feature. As the cars are pretty much fully loaded we figured we did not need the built in sensor but got this model with it anyhow. Rather then running one or hoping the current one for the wipers and other features worked with the switch. Took about a minute to install. Then a few minutes more with some cushion tape for a snug feel. All features and modes work with easy. Also did some easy coding on the cars ECU to add some more but 99% people wont even worry about this as the switch does all basic needs.

2015 Jetta - does not sit perfectly flush in the dash like the stock one does, but worth the trade-off for the functionality.

Broke After using fog lights.
I assume the wire was too short for the sensor. But now it won’t turn off when the car is off. Idk if I’m doing it wrong but it drains my battery if I forget to turn it off. It used to work but doesn’t now
