Garmin automotive devices with an Android operating system have an option in the Display settings menu called When device is rotated or Auto-rotate screen. This setting enables the screen to rotate automatically between portrait and landscape display modes based on the device's orientation or sets the device to remain in the current display mode regardless of its orientation. See the owner's manual for instructions to adjust the display settings. NOTE: For a horizontal view, the device would need to be upright with the Garmin logo (on the face of the device) and the power button on the left side. To change to a vertical position, rotate the device to the left, then rotate the device back to the right to go back to a horizon view.
