I Cannot See Woithout It!
I'm nearing old age at 90 years. I have macular degeneration an. There are no straight lines in my vision. I cannot read without this device. The light is a real asset, and I must have th high magnification this provides. I carry it in my pocket everywhere I go. I even use a magnifying glass on this computer - not this one, it is too strong! If you can't see very good, you get this little thing. It's the best ever if you are going blind!

Works great, battery charge lasts a long time
I use this 25X Loupe Magnifier a lot, and I find it to be quite useful and of high quality. I like having the two different light settings - the bright white light illuminates my subject nicely, and if it is too bright or casts a glare on certain objects, I can easily switch to the purple light with one click of the button and can see my object fine. Sometimes I don't need to use the light at all. The battery lasts an impressively long time on one charge - I was expecting that I might find it a nuisance to run out of juice while using it and have to recharge it more often, and I'm happy to say this has not been an issue at all, in fact I can't remember the last time I charged it and I use it fairly regularly. The little case that came with it seems cheap and flimsy, yet it is holding up fine even though I often just toss it in my bag or box and it get buried under other items, and it does it's job of protecting the Loupe from scratches and keeping the lens dust-free. I originally got it for the ability to use the stand to free up both hands for handling something I might be repairing, but I find that this really doesn't work out like I hoped, as the small distance between the stand and the lens rarely is optimal viewing distance for item to be in focus, plus stooping down low to bring my face down to the surface I'm working from is uncomfortable and impractical. I typically need to pick it up so I can balance between moving item further away from lens and adjusting distance from my eye. I sometimes fold the stand out straight and use it as a handle, and often don't even bother folding out the stand at all, just take it right out of the case and use it with stand still folded up for storage - works just as well this way and lights still work the same. I also find the measuring marks useless, which was disappointing. I sometimes wish the magnification was a bit higher. Although it misses the mark on a few items, the lights, battery life, quality build and compact size bring enough value that I still get a lot of use and enjoyment from this little Loupe.

Bright light and hands free make it super easy to use
I work in micro photography and use this to pose tiny specimens before photographing them with a microscope. The bright light makes it easy to see the specimen and the stand leaves both my hands free so I can use tweezers and needles to accurately position the specimen. I can't position it when it is in the microscope because there isn't room for my hands. This saves me tons of time and frustration. The only draw back is the light shuts off automatically after a while, but it is easy to turn back on.
