The week should be replaced when it is too short to reach the bottom of the tank. I trim mine whenever necessary, which usually lasts about a year.

Hello! I sell lighter wicks that measure 2 mm in diameter with a threaded core. They are used in IMCO Lighters as well as many other brands and are intended to be used with lighter fluid.
