Needed to see where the neighbours cat was gaining entry into the garden as I was fed up with it using my vegetable plot as its own personal bathroom, especially when it had obviously been eating food that did not agree with it 🤢.This picks up movement very easily. I find I have to turn down sensitivity when it’s raining r very windy as my phone would ping me constantly. The picture quality is great too.Very easy to setup, night vision is clear and I got an SD card as I didn’t want to have to pay a subscription to view in cloud. The storage card works great and you can download if you want to.You can fully control where it’s pointing from the app. I have another make around the other side of the house, and wanted another one to go with it. That particular make was n ,pinger available and after reading reviews I decided on this make. I’m so glad I did, it’s much better control wise than the other one is. The app is clearer as to what you want to do and how to achieve it. Definitely recommended and the price was great too.

So I seen this camera on sale and thought let’s give it a go. I needed a camera anyway, it was cheap and thought I can send it back if it was bad… no! Not even close!It is a hard wired camera so you do need to plug it into a mains which is fine and I prefer this because I do not have to change batteries then and worry about battery life. Easy mains, easy solved issue.I drilled through my wall and got it all setup. The setup process was so easy, step by step and made it simple proof!The picture picture was also really bloody good as well and the night vision in black and white was good, but when switching the lights on in the dead of night, it all changes into colour which was freaky but really cool!You can install an SD card in, I’ve put a 256gb one and delete the recordings weekly. You can set a few other features like tracking, alarm, motion, record all the time, panorama etc. there are some good features which is nice to have.Controlling the camera and also speaking through it is fun. The alerts are good, specially when people are walking down my path or something, it records that instance because I’ve got it set to that. This is good!It is missing little features but these are quality of life things. Like setting a boundary up of your garden, being able to set the area so it only records there would be nice. Also, the ability to set the SD card local data to maybe delete after X time like a week or something would be nice, without manually deleting them or letting the SD card fill up and then rewrite over the old stuff. - again these are quality of life features that would make it better.The support as well is great! It is all built into the app like a message simple and it’s so fast and simple, hands down the support alone deserves 5 stars! They helped me reset a panorama because I could not find out. They guided me to certain things all on the same day I sent a message so hats off to them.I’ve bought a second card and again set it up super easy connected to the same app with simplicity. Really really happy with this purchase and would say to anyone, if you are after a decent outside camera, this is the one.The cable is pretty long but you can buy an extension one as well. I did just in case but not had to use it yet. I just hope the camera doesn’t fail or break down and it lasts a very long time.The casing is cheap plastic which is fine because it’s light but I hope it lasts because honestly it’s a superb quality outdoor camera with many simple great features anyone would like.

I use this security camera in my stables to keep an eye on horses. It’s a significant upgrade on the quality of the last one I purchased a few years back!The app was easy to install and the auto-setup was foolproof. Connectivity was pretty much instant and there’s lots of helpful info on the setup guide and online.The power cable wasn’t hugely long, but long enough to do the job for me.It has a great range of motion and whilst I don’t always use the auto/alerts etc, I did check them out and they worked well, even distinguishing between animals moving around and people.The sound quality is fine and it has a speaker so you can talk back.The recording feature needs an SD card but again, the instructions are easy to get this up and working. Probably the best feature for me is the night vision which is very clear and good quality.You should be aware this camera does need a WiFi connection. I use a little mobile router and it reaches that easily, so don’t assume it works on 4G etc.Overall, a brilliant buy for the price!

FABULOUS PIECE OF KIT, IF ONLY IT WOULD SEND NOTIFICATIONS TO MY PHONE WHEN THERE IS AN EVENT HAPPENING. THE CAMERA TRACKS WELL, THE RESPONSE TIME IS GOOD, THE AREA COVERED BY THE CAMERA IS VERY GOOD AND EVERYTHING WORKS VERY WELL EXCEPT THE NOTIFICATIONS. I HAVE NOW BEEN TRYING TO GET DEKCO HELPLINE TO FIX THE PROBLEM WITH NOTIFICATIONS NOT BEING SENT TO MY PHONE AND THEY HAVE FAILED. THE WHOLE SYSTEM IS OF NO USE IF I CANNOT GET NOTIFICATIONS BUT THE HELPLINE IS GETTING NOWHERE.I have now reviewed my star rating from 1 to 4 because Dekco updated their app and my camera works very well and now sends notifications to my phone. I do find the whole package verygood value for money.

Good quality camera. We now have 4 of these. Easy to set up and install. Looo obvious outside as a deterrent with the added security light too. Good motion movement and a great clear picture. Great value compared to the high end cameras I was very impressed. Better than the ring cameras. Lots of features to make it suit your needs. I do recommend this brand.

Excellent camera for the money, really clear you can also talk to visitors and the camera angles are amazing.Highly recommended

I don't often write a review, but after the fantastic customer service I thought I'd share my experience.I ordered one of these cameras to monitor my front garden first, before I ordered another for the back garden, I found it very easy to install, the most difficult part being getting the cable outside to the camera. The first part of installation I did inside, powering up the camera and following instructions as I went on, I then managed to connect it to Alexa as well. I got a small hole drilled through the inside to ouside, big enough to fit the plug through and made a very neat job of it then went on to finish the camera setup on the Cloudedge App by way of setting camera resting place and alarm area etc.I was so impressed with it after a couple of weeks I ordered a 2nd camera for the back garden and went through the same routine to set it up. I hit a snag after setting it up with Cloudedge, as Alexa wouldn't recognise the camera and I spent ages trying all different settings, but with no luck. So, I contacted Dekco by Amazon message centre asking if there was something I was doing wrong. I was then told the camera software was the wrong type and they would send me an up to date camera FOC. When it arrived in a couple of days I had the new camera up and running with Cloudedge and Alexa, so went on to install it outside as the previous one I'd fitted.I have now had both cameras installed and fitted with 128gb micro SD cards for about 4 weeks and they work superbly picking up motion in the set alarm areas only and the motion tracking is amazing.I now have a spare camera, which I know won't work with Alexa, but still works with Cloudedge, so I am going to install that camera at the rear of the garage facing the door,,, might as well, it's free!Telling Alexa to show Front or Back garden camera on their view screens is easy and takes a couple of seconds for the Meari App to load.To sum up, I now have a full security system connected to Alexa, along with a wired Ring doorbell for not a lot of cash, just a bit of setting up the Apps and drilling a couple of holes and I'm over 70 years old as well.Thank you Dekco for these amazing cameras and your after sales service.

Now useless to me because of the "cloud" garbageI do not want to pay £44.99 a year , I am entitled to make but not according to DECKO they have made my sd card unusable and after constant requests to OVERWRITE the flies DECKO do not and insist "CLOUD " SUBSCRIPTION . BEFORE I PUT IT IN THE BIN WOULD DECKO RELENT from INSISTING on CLOUD Payment I have nlo other troubles with other cameras DIFFERENT MAKE

Just set this up on Sunday and lo and behold had vandals that night throwing eggs, caught them well with this camera, showed the footage to the Police and the Police made them come round and clean our cars and windows of the house
