desertcart.com: Mite Massacre 8 oz. Spider Mite Killer and Powdery Mildew Fighter - Makes 8 GALLONS of Spray : Clothing, Shoes & Jewelry Review: But if you have a huge pest issue. - This is one of the only things that have ever worked for my spider mites on my house plants the only thing is that it is kind of harsh on the plants so I donโt do it very often but if you have a huge spider my issue I would suggest using this! I also have mealy bugs, but it doesnโt work as well on them; But I will be buying this again. Usually, I like a more natural approach, but with how big the infestation is, this was kind of the only thing I could use! I would also say not to use it on your more expensive plants that are known to be sensitive because it might burn or curl the leafs if the concentration is too much Review: It helped kill spider mites on my palm tree - My majesty palm got spider mites. This is the third palm I own and my previous two died after getting spider mites. The first time I went to my local gardening center and got some chemical spray that killed the plant alongside the spider mites. With my second palm, I decided to follow the organic method and wash off the mites. Did not work, and the plant died soon after. When my new palm tree got spider mites again, I got really worried. I wanted to go with a natural treatment which worked. Decided to give a try to the Mite Massacre since it had good reviews. I'm glad to report it worked. After the first spraying, I did not notice any new webbing, but decided to continue and sprayed two more times just in case. I have not noticed any webbing in the last two weeks. Due to my previous experience with majesty palms, I was very afraid of spider mites this time, and I am really glad I have finally found a treatment. I hope this time I would be able to keep my palm tree healthy for a long time.

Eradication of spider mites
Great. Iโve used a whole bunch of other products for spider mites and this definitely does the job. Follow the directions properly; depending on the plant you may have to lighten the dosage. I used this for Cannabis, Tomatoes and zinnias. Iโm completely satisfied.

It kills the mites and their eggs but harsh on the plant
It does the job of killing the spider mites and their eggs (some eggs will survive it however so repeated application is needed), it is harsh on the plants even if it was applied in the dark as we lost some of our plants even though we used less than recommended amount. Make sure not to use it on seedlings as a fungicide because it makes the seedling stunt (not right away but within a couple of weeks you will see the slow growth) You might loose the plants that have been infested with spider mites but at least you know that the spider mites are gone too cause the infested plants are a goner anyways.

It works great.
Not sure why people are complaining at all about this stuff. It must be user error, inexperience and not following the instructions. I have a lot of experience dealing with spider mites and this product works great if you follow the instructions. It's also priced pretty well compared to comparable products. Mite Massacre is right, all I saw was 2 spotted corpses and my last mite problem go away.

Not Great...and harsh on hydroponics
Like many reviews, this stuff (used EXACTLY as directed) had little effect on my spider mite infestation. I DRENCHED my hydro CA grown plant 3 times throughout a week. The mites showed no real growth in population (which is good), but I could still see live ones crawling around....The only real visable difference was scorched sugar leaves...which was fine as long as the flowers were not damaged, but not exactly desirable as it can potentially shock your plants. As with most pest infestations, you gotta throw a variety of stuff at them to eradicate. I gave up on this expensive stuff and went back to using a soap based deterrent (purchased from CVS), and a diatomaceous earth (DE) & water spray (not in flowering stage). Save your money and go with the more tried-and-true "old school" methods. DE works great for creating an undesirable surface for all little bugs btw... Prevention is key

Does the trick but don't rush it!
Great product. What I found is that you must know the mite life cycle. This does kill spider mites. You must shake mixture often. It dries the mites and sucks their moisture out of eggs too. But under 60x magnification I found that the mites lay eggs before they die and the spray residual doesn't get to them yet. You must spray everyother day religiously for 2 weeks to stop the worst mite infestation. You should Inspect leaves for little white mottled dots. If your getting webs you are really too late and your 2weeks + from clearing up issue. Webs = neglect! No product is intended to cure neglect!

I'm still wondering how this stuff is working so good for some people
I'm still wondering how this stuff is working so good for some people. I have been applying it as directed. Mixing it as directed. . The mites still seem to be laughing at me. I'll soak the plants, over and under the leaves. I check the next day and they are still there. I think it is beating them back a bit, but it's hardly lethal to them on contact. Their little webs protect them well. It will damage the leaves a bit too, especially if you don't shut the lights off. Kinda hard to see then. I wish it worked better. I'll keep trying.
