A: Can't speak for the woman side, but it is working great for me (a man, obviously:). But metabolic rates should be increased regardless of sex. It really gets the metabolism fired up for me - especially early in the morning!

**Q: How much caffeine does shred have?**
A: Shred has 260mg of caffeine per serving. A normal cup of coffee has about 95-100mg of caffeine.

**Q: What's rhe difference b/w Blue Raz and other flavors? Why does it cost more?**
A: I am not sure of the difference. Reach out to their customer service. They are great and respond very quickly. I must add this pre workout is one of the best of about a dozen i have tried.

**Q: How quickly work it after drinking?**
A: I take it about 20-30 mins before working out on an empty stomach...that will get you right

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good energy, no crash, occasional GI issues

I used this product in two different stints: for 3 months in fall of 2019 and again in the fall of 2020. The first time I used it, it had been almost a year since I used a pre-workout supplement. I used 1 scoop with 8 oz of water and I got good energy without a a crash later, but had GI issues for the first month or so. I eventually decided to try another product until I noticed it was on sale, so I thought I would give it another go. This time, there were no GI issues, so it may be that I was unaccustomed to the product and should have gone in with a smaller dose. As for the effects of the product, it worked quickly and got me ready to workout within 10 minutes of waking up (I get up around 5:30am). I never experienced any kind of crash and generally did not need to supplement with any further caffeine throughout the day. The flavor is good, though the powder does need a more vigorous stir to mix well with water than other similar products. Overall, good product, decent value (especially if you find it on sale), and if you're already accustomed to pre-workout supplement, no adverse side effects.
