What's most surprising is that it can't handle much volume at all. In fact, while turning up the computer with the default Windows alert (and connected to the headphone jack) the empty speaker-cup distorts before it reaches 40% volume. Only one of the two USB ports works (the right one) while the other may not be connected to anything internally. Technically it does come with cords, but they're so short they're useless unless plugging into a laptop (which already have speakers) or if you keep your CPU on the desk close by; if your computer is under the desk these might/maybe/just *barely* reach the edge of your desk. Hopefully among your spare cables you have some of a common length: one audio cable, one micro USB. Just for the base itself I might try and install a more robust speaker inside, something that won't sound distort at conversational volume. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ THIS IS A COOL ITEM.
