I like the looks of it, and even better that for the look you are not trading of brightness or efficiency. I have it on a clear lamp shade, so having a bulb that is nice to look at is a big plus. It is plenty bright, the colour would be even better if it was a tad whiter, but not a deal breaker to us. Speaking of breaking, this is not glass, so won't break as easily. I haven't noticed any flickering. I can't comment too much on durability, it is rated for 15 thousand hours, so should be okay for a long time.
