I read the description and decided on buying it. I received this product the next day. Everything was in the box. I had a lot of documents to shred. The shredder does make noise, like all shredders do. I started the shredding process and I love how it does cross micro cuts. WOW! I LOVED IT! It did better than my last shredder. I tried letting it cool down after shredding around 30 pages so that way it doesn't over heat. Shredders are known to overheat after shredding for at least 2 minutes straight. The worse padt is that once it overheats, you have to wait at least for 30 minutes for it to cool down before the shredder starts operating again. I also discovered that the operating manual stated that you could even use cooking oil to lubricate the gears/blades. Most shredders do not allow use cooking oil for lubricating. Anyway, this was a great purchase and I highly recommend this product. Be aware, this is my own personal, honest opinion. I am not a paid reviewer.
