I bought this adapter for a month long trip to Europe. I visited Germany, the Czech Republic, Poland and Austria - all use the same style of outlet and this adapter was compatible to convert my U.S. plugs. As you can see from the photo (Germany), I was able to plug in my cord for my Apple laptop and it held up to the weight. If the hotel's outlet is a little loose, the adapter may sag under the weight, but I only had that problem in one location. The adapter also features USB ports which were handy to simultaneously charge my cell phone and other items. I was traveling by myself; so, this product was all I needed. If you are traveling with a partner or family, you may wish to get a larger model instead. Or you could simply take turns using this one. For me, it was small, lightweight and easy to use!

I bought two of these for our two week trip to Italy. They worked in every hotel, the Italy airport and the Italy trains. These also fit into the outlets on the Norwegian Airlines premium seats on our international flights (not sure about the economy seats but those are usually equipped with outlets these days). The USB ports worked like a charm and charge fast. It’s nice having two USB charging ports on each one. We also used these to power high wattage devices such as a hand steamer and curling iron. These are made from extremely durable plastic. Overall they are very high quality and I recommend them for travel to Italy or any other country with this type of outlet.

This Ceptics Travel Adapter performed perfectly during my recent Danube River vacation. The adapter had no trouble fitting in the european outlets I encountered in Hungary, Austria, Germany, and the Czech Republic as well as aboard my river cruise boat. With it's 2 USB ports and a three prong outlet, I was able to charge two USB devices as well as plugging in my computer charger. It's solid construction will provide years of service. I highly recommend this Ceptics adapter to those traveling in Europe.

I bought this adapter for Europe, namely Croatia and Germany. It's lightweight and travels easily as there are no components to carry with it. All of my US power supplies that are 110v-240v work with this adapter. The fact that I can charge 2 USB items at the same time while using the plug is also great. Phone and iPad charges quickly. I have a high-end hair straightener. It's working with this although I am limited on my temperature setting. In the US I use 410 degrees F. In Croatia I am only able to go up to 230 degrees F. But it hasn't blown my power supply on my straightener.

I am editing my review after using it this summer. It works great, however I had trouble using a brand new Duracell micro usb to charge my android device. It worked on another converter. I also tried the charging cable when arriving back in the states, and it didn’t work well. There were times the adapter needed to be turned upside down to charge. I had no problem charging, and it works great. It just might be the cable and outlet that can give this adapter 4.5 stars. For what it’s worth and compared to what I’ve had is really good, especially having usb slots also to charge. You can charge three at same time, but I’d recommend only two. I recommend you try it.

It is just an adapter. It didn't look like it would work when I opened the box. But it did what I needed it to d,. Was pleasantly surprised when I could plug my laptop into it. Nice little gadget if you don't have a lot of items to plug in. It was just me on the trip, so worked fine for me.

I got this as a stocking stuffer for my parents. They travel overseas every year and can always use an adapter. this has plug and USB attachments, so it's very useful and compact. It's a great value for the money.

This adapter worked perfectly in Italy. Others in our Tour Group had loose fit with the adapters they carried.. My wife and I each had one of these and all was great ! note: these do not change the voltage from 230v to 120v American.

This is a very robust product and very convenient for travelling as type C plugs are found on every continent except North America and Australia. I tested the USB ports output with my USB voltage-current tester and the output is 4.93V and no-load and increases to 5.0V at its rated 2.1 Amp output. I am very happy with the product.
