I'm quite happy with the product. It dries to a nice sheen as opposed to high gloss, but it's okay and does the job. I would buy this again if I ran out. It's a good price compared to some other products.

I am pleased with this varnish, easy to apply and seems to go a long way so would last quite a while, no odour and dried nicely on a glass project I made. Only reason I gave a 4* is because the cap was very difficult to get off, I had to use a screwdriver to prise it off the bottle, then I removed the orange rim under the cap so I could screw the cap back on the bottle.

Painting by numbers is one of my hobbies and I bought this to protect my finished artwork. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to apply and this bottle will last for a long time as very little was used. As well as protecting my painting, it brought out the colours and improved the overall appearance.

I tried other products claiming not to make ink bleed. They all failed. This one mostly succeeded so it is better than most. I hand draw onto wooden gift tags and little stretch canvas pictures using paint pens. I use a fine nib outliner pen and that plus a few red pens were what caused the bleed issue. I would leave the drawings to dry overnight and then varnish next morning only to have other varnishes ruin them by making some of the inks bleed over the wooden surface. This product provides a thin coat of varnish and leaves most of my ink intact. Sadly I have experienced some bleed when varnishing over some acrylic paint pen work. It seems to be the ones that are red or pink causing the issue. No matter how long left to dry, the varnish still smears the paint. So disappointed. I thought this was the one. I have found Posca black fine nib outliner to remain smudge free and Edding traffic light red seems to remain intact, but when I use other red-based colours ....... nightmare. Have to paint over and start again.

I used this gloss varnish to coat the baubles I made for Christmas. I mixed the gloss with water in a 50/50 ratio, as it tends to be quite thick otherwise. Depending on your project, I would recommend this approach. After dipping the baubles in the mixture, I let them dry for 48 hours, and the results were fantastic. The finish was excellent, and the baubles appeared shiny with a professional look. I can't wait to make more!

Brought to varnish over acrylic pens that had decorated rocks. Great product, no smell, dries really quickly with a gloss finish. Fantastic value for money.

Very good value. I put 1 coat onto my acrylic paintings and it was sufficient coverage to protect them from the sun etc. It is not too thick so goes on easily. The finish was a satin shine rather than a gloss finish which I prefer. I would buy again the price was very good, and I would recommend this product for coating acrylic paintings on canvas.
