These are perfect for replacing cracked jewel case parts. I used the lid for my Impera CD that arrived with a crack on its front door which had bothered me for months. Finally, I found a replacement jewel cases product with good reviews! It's quite pricy but worth it, the plastic is thick and sturdy. Even nicer quality than another album I got from Elektra Records which happens to have a very thin, flexible case. Anyway, the door came off easily so I imagine you can mix and match whichever part you need replaced. However, now the front doesn't shut with a "click" and swings upon with little force, but after some more pressing(?) around, it mysteriously closes properly. But, it does click properly when the front is used with the back, so it may be a case of slightly different jewel case designs between this product and my original album's back piece. I hope that makes sense, anyway get it!

Let me make this clear. These cases aren't perfect but I think they are Good. I ordered a set of 10 of them. Proceeded to swap out 10 damaged cases with them and none of them cracked. They survived transit without sustaining any damage as they were effectively packed into a cardboard box with a thin layer of bubble wrap to cushion them. They aren't going to implode, are unlikely to spontaneously crack if you treat them with a bit of respect. Structurally, they have a little bit of robustness to them, the hinges seem to be good and the disc spool though they let discs rock a bit are very accommodating and actually have a pop reflex. At around £2 per CD case (in this set of 10), they are very good value and actually usable. I would actually suggest these, just take it slow when you're removing the disc tray.
