Have anyone ever ued dentek on a throbbing tooth ache? I did and the pain is still bad

I had a crack in my tooth and put some on a cotton swab and held it on my tooth and it would help for about 3 hours. It was friday and by Sunday the pain was so bad i would use it every hour. When i went to the dentist he found i had an infection in my tooth and gums and this only worked because my tooth had a crack in it where it could reach it. For me this was amazing and let me wait till monday. But if you dont have any way for the liquid to get to the nerves it will not work. Im not saying you should do this (ask your dentist) BUT my dentist said I could apply as often as I needed. The case says once every 3 or 4 hours but my dentist said I could use it more often. The pain is bad i know and thats bad if this didnt numb it for you. I would have had to call a dentist on the weekend and pay lots of $$S if it didnt work. Best of luck!

My sympathy for your broken tooth.  This product is more to fill a hole where a filling came out you can't build up the side of the tooth or cover the pointy area.  Sorry I had a tooth that broke on me and tried it this way two months ago.  I suggest asking your doctor for a anti-anxiety pull you just need one, and take it before going to the dentist that might help you also tell your dentist how afraid you are, they are usually really good with working with nervous patients.

I broke a round piece of a tooth off would this be good to just fill in the hole?
