These may be the best protective shooting goggles you can get. Once you see how thick the lense is, you will understand. Ballistics tests show how well they can work.What price are your eyes worth?No guarantees, but these will likely increase your chances of getting out of an accident situation with both eyes intact.Ask your friendly neighborhood door-kicker what they were offered or issued in Iraq or Afghanistan? Most of them will probably agree with me.The only negative is, well, they are goggles. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ WHY NO THERMAL LENSES?? *by J***L on Reviewed in the United States on April 3, 2016* These Goggles fit really well and are very comfortable. The field of vision is great too. Only issue I had was with the anti fog claims. Smith says there is an etched coating that prevents moisture from accumulating in the form of fogging. I found that during short periods of high activity, the lenses would haze over. It was not exactly fogging, as I could "see" through the lenses well enough to continue whatever task I was working on but it was enough that I could not make out any detail on anything. Imagine slightly better than opening your eyes under water. Usable, but I really wish they had a set of thermal lenses to get rid of this altogether.They make a version with a fan for a hundred and eighty bucks but again, thermal lenses would get rid of even the need for that. I did find that rainx anti-fog wipes worked great at stopping the base during normal movement and walking.
