Great product

This is a high quality assembly. It looks better than the pictures, and fits together well. A wire with the quarter turn locks used by GM is even included. I do hope my new wheel includes the correct mounting bolts. There is a tiny bit of backlash in the splines but with blue loctite and torque on the nut it will be fine.

Ordered for a 1990 Chevrolet c1500 OBS. The splined hub did not flush with the steering wheel spline. There’s a small gap between the steering column and the hub of about a quarter inch. If you’re a perfectionist and want it all flush the application may differ for other vehicles. For mine it was not flush with no gap, no big deal. The second issue was the horn spring and the contact pin. The contact pin was crimped facing outwards and needed to be facing inwards. Had to use the stock one. The drilled holes and the bolts provided are a tight fit. You get the sense that they may cross thread but they hold. It’s only to get rid of excess metal. Once you get several threads in, they go in smoothly. Overall it’s a good set up with minor adjustments just like any item off Amazon. Would recommend for the price. Just make sure to get a steering wheel that will fit and have correct connectors, bolts, and correct diameters.

Nice piece, fit and looks great. Screws are too short for a normal steel 6 bolt wheel but the wheel came with longer screws so I was good.
