The release button is a nice design feature. Good placement. Seat itself is good quality. It’s plastic and might be a little heavier, but it is sturdy and fitted well. Fixtures included (top fitting only) were reasonable quality and easy to install. Soft close works fine. At about ½ the price of other seats on the market I think this represents excellent value. It’s not a ‘premium’ product but for £20ish it’s better than I was expecting. We’ll see how long it lasts - but initial impressions are positive.

First impressions - It doesn't feel as sturdy as my old toilet seat, it's just normal plastic and feels less hard wearing - The top fitting connectors were so simple to install. A massive upgrade from my old underneath fittings which required me to reach under and around to tighten them - There are 4 underneath pads on the seat and the front 2 sit flat to the toilet rim but the back 2 are slightly raised and don't touch the toilet. This could potentially be a problem in future with the seat cracking with the constant use and pressing down on it * - The soft close fitting are what you'd expect. Silent, but slow. Overall ok, some concerns about the plastic quality and the pads not sitting flat to the seat but first few uses have been fine. It has only been used for just a few hours at the time of writing this review so I may come back and update this in a few months. * I used my old toilet seat pads to help with this by trimming down the old pad and then using some bathroom silicone to glue the old pad to the new to create a thicker pad. The back ones now sit flat to the seat but the front ones are marginally higher. It has taken the pressure off the back hinge which should reduce any potentially cracking but I think I will make the front ones slightly thicker using the old pads too so theyre level. I've added pictures to show the difference.

Did the job , easy to fit and looks good

Item is very light weight plastick, not sure how long this will last. The original seat this is replacing is much sturdier. Not returning as i need a seat now, also one of the location holes had part of the plastick lock mechanism covering it so unable to connect, took 5 to 10 min to pick & push it to clear the hole, so not as easy to install as it should be, I would prob go for the more expensive version if I have to buy again, hopefully I haven't bought cheep and need to buy twice, fingers crossed it last longer than I think it will, the old seat was prob 4 or 5 years old before it broke. On the plus side the removal button is located much easier and accessible compared to the old version

Exactly what was described not as good as the original seat but decent replacement

I found this toilet seat easy to install and was worried about the seat plugs being able to fit the base. Once I had dismantled the old seat this new one was very flexible in it’s fitting plugs which fit in the holes of your toilet base. This means you could have different size holes in your base and this seat would fit. The rubber plugs expand as you tighten the screws with a screwdriver so you don’t have to remove a fitted toilet base. The seat is lightweight and very plastic which I wasn’t to keen about but once fitted it does the job and looks great. The seat and cover close slowly so no bangs late in the night. You can press the grey button in the centre of your seat and the seat will come off (see second photo) making the toilet easy to clean, adjust rubber plugs or replace in a few years…

Hard to find a square replacement seat, ordered and arrived quickly. Box was damaged and seat is scratched as shiny plastic :( but as the old one had cracked a replacement needed quickly. Relatively easy to fit, needed a pencil to mark position, soap to get the plugs through the holes and screwdriver to tighten. Will see how long it lasts 🤞

My mum recently had her toilet replaced due to her stupid son dropping a hammer on it and smashing the porcelain. the replacement looked like a standard toilet bowl to be fair but she went through 3 different seats and kept getting the same issue. after a few days they would start to wobble and become loose. going to the bathroom at my mums was like a ride on the log flume. after spending around £80 total on failed seats i told her to 'leave it with me', and i would sort it. after some assurance that I wouldnt go near it with a hammer she finally agreed. I then did more research into toilet seats than any one person should do, and finally purchased this one with doubting confidence. Bit of background on me - i have installed up to 9 toilets seats in my life, so i am a bit of an expert. That being said i had never seen fittings like these. you push the black rubber seals into the holes on the toilet bowl then screw into them and the seals contract and snuggly and tightly fill the holes. i was quite impressed with how simple it was to install. my mum was blown away with the fact that in just one button press you can remove the seat for easy cleaning, and the slow closing is a bonus too. needless to say, 6 months down the line and the seat is still firmly in place. you wouldn't think technology of a toilet seat could advance much, but if someone dropped a hammer on mine tomorrow i would purchase one of these.
