One review for this skunk was negative saying the opening for your hand (it is a puppet) was way too little and this man commenting said he could not get his hand in it. Another reviewer said they had to cut the opening to get a hand inside. I am a relatively small female and my hand fits, although it is a little tight. However, this is a child’s toy so to me that says the opening will accommodate a child’s hand very well and it does. Obviously we can't do that, so this is the next best thing, and he named it Sam and carries this hand puppet around everywhere. One thing to note is that if you have larger hands, this is pretty difficult to figure out how to use, as the item is small and the holes for the arms are pretty small as well so it's hard for me to use it as an actual puppet—however, my son can.
