Spend a few dollars more to buy the best aftermarket part available !
I believe that this fuel pump is the best quality part that I could find without spending $150.00 on eBay for a factory New old stock part. It fits like it should and it works well so far. Not all aftermarket parts are equal quality. I removed a fairly new pump from my customers truck and replaced it with this pump because the other leaked fuel where the line attached. It just was not built / machined correctly. I have over 60 years of experience in the Automotive business.

May work OK when installed, but lever won't move by hand
I've always been able to hold a Chevy fuel pump with both hands and push it down on a workbench to compress the lever. But on this one the lever simply won't move, even when using my upper body to help push. I exchanged e-mails with a Carter tech support guy who told me some of them are like that, but it should work OK. Or I could return it if I wanted to. I returned it because I didn't want to take a chance and break something.

It worked for me. Standard OEM option.

It left me stranded, better buy two and keep tools to change out pump in the trunk.
Bought it in November 2025, failed in February 2026. I don't know what else to say. I thought I was buying a quality pump. The car was idling just fine, then pressure went to zero. It left me stranded .

Nice fuel pump
The pump was perfect. I had purchased three different fuel pumps so I was glad when this one came because it fit the connectors like it should. After running around for a few days it was nice to get what you need.
