I'm pretty pleased with this kiln so far
I'm pretty pleased with this kiln so far. It's performed better than my other microwave kiln and I'm able to get some pretty neat pieces fired in it. Keep in mind this package only contains the kiln. For beginners you'll need kiln paper and safety gloves before operation or you'll have a mess on your hands. Also, gradually bring the kiln up to temperature by using the microwave wave settings (like 50% power for a minute or two, then 70% for a minute etc) at least until you know what the glass and the kiln will do will lead to greater success. So far I've been 90% successful with my pieces and the 10% off have been due more to user error (me!) and the kiln itself.

I must have gotten a good one
I had a Fuseworks brand microkiln first and wanted to buy another to use while the Fuseworks one cooled. I've been using them both "to death" and I'm pretty happy, to be honest. This one is the same size as my "original" one and works ALMOST as well. I think pieces take just slightly longer in here but it's not bad. And it's much less expensive than a full-priced Fuseworks. I've even been able to cinter a small silver Art Clay piece in it!!

Works good but small
Works very well and it is what it was advertized as. I was amazed that such a thing existed and bought one just to see if it worked. I never used one before or even saw one used before, but my first try worked fine. I've made about a dozen things successful for curio-grade trinkets. It takes somewhat more time than I expected, about 6 minutes on my 1200 watt oven using fuseworks 90 coe glass and a few hour cooling time. It is small. It can only do one small part at a time. If I was even going to be serious about it, I would definitely want a larger one. They are fragile, I haven't broken my yet, but probably will. It is quite fun and amazing.for a beginner. Be careful - hot

Works with stained glass and a 600 W microwave oven
I was concerned about whether or not I could use my stained glass scraps and a 600W microwave. My first attempt worked. I am not sure about the time needed. 6 minutes were not enough so I gave it another 6 and it fused. I had to leave before it was finished so less time might work.

Used for 30 Seconds and then BOOM!!!
I have a larger kiln like this by a different brand, works BEAUTIFULLY!❤️ I order this one to fire smaller work. Followed instructions to a “T” and took the proper precautions. I put my work in, entered a short amount of time on the microwave (45 seconds to a minute on low power/defrost), and about 30 seconds in, I hear a 💥BOOM💥! My microwave is okay, but the project I put in was not. The interior lining broke from the top of the kiln, the ceramic insulation material (the white, chalky matter of the kiln) started to crack and grow as time has gone on, and the base part of the kiln has nearly disintegrated. Very Cheap Very Small Complete Trash Overall, USELESS is the word I would use to describe this kiln.

Blah not goid
Not a reliable product. It clearly is not even, nor melts the glass evenly. I have 2 other kilns that work perfectly. I wanted another for more turn arounds instead of waiting for products to clear. This didn't fire them up properly. They either didn't merge completey or they broke.

Not a toy but fun
I’ve had lots of fun learning how to melt and fuse glass. I bought it to create shapes for mosaic tile projects. There’s a learning curve, the device has limitations, and there aren’t many directions. But for the money, it’s remarkable.

Works but cracked on first use.
Just got this small kiln and it started cracking with the first use. I did a slow preheat, several short 30 second heat cycles with a rest in between and watched the kiln carefully. Heard a pop with the first 30 second heat cycle. Fired one small piece of pottery in the kiln for approx 4 minutes and the kiln did get up to a nice orange glow. After cooling off from the first firing the lining inside the kiln had lifted at the edge and pulled away slightly. I have used the kiln two more times and each time it has a new or widening crack to the interior. It worked great the first two firings but the third firing on the same size piece took twice the time and actually came out under fired. Don’t know if that was due to the changes on the inside of the kiln or some other factor. This one doesn’t seem as good to quality as the last kiln I bought and I am worried a bit about using it with the interior coating peeling up. Some people give this kiln a great review but there are some reviews stating similar issues to mine. I asked for a replacement and it was sent quickly so hopefully the new one will hold up longer. I gave it 3 stars because it kind of worked and I did get a replacement for the defective one

Good..if you know what you really want!
Good product if one knows what it is. It's a instant un-controlled time sensitive kiln and not a profiled PID controlled professional kiln. No water/moisture.. it' works good.
