How does this compare in taste to Liptons or Yorkshire black tea?

I don't think I'm a tea snob or connoisseur but Bewley's Irish Breakfast tastes much better to me than Lipton's tea. I also like the Yorkshire Gold tea which has a good strong flavor. The only time I drink Lipton's is when I'm at a restaurant and Lipton's is all that they've got. Bewley's Irish Breakfast is a delicious strong blend of teas and I don't add any milk only sugar. I recommend all of Bewley's tea blends since I use all of them.

I'm looking for an Irish tea that has a strong malt flavor. Is this the tea?

It is very strong but I would not call it malt flavor......It is a wonderful tea!! Can't hurt to try it and see if it is what you are looking for....I just never thought of it as a malt flavor.

Do the teabags contain plastic?

Google it, people....almost all of today's teabags do contain microplastics, some of them up to 25%. A few of them do not, so it's probably a good idea to do a little research before you order if this is a concern to you.
