It is two layers of satin and can easily be adjusted to fit different head sizes. The adjustability was a big plus for me. The satin is soft and good quality. The outside color is a muted pink, but I wasn’t too excited about the lining being black. Just a personal preference. I purchased this because I use a C-Pap machine at night and the harness that goes on my head roughs up my hair and it tends and is gets frizzy in those spots. This solved that problem and the harness actually stayed in place better. I took one star off of the rating because it is so big in volume that there is a lot of excess space my mid length hair doesn't fill. Also I had to leave it setting out of the package for a couple of days to get rid of an intense small. I think it might be more user friendly if it came in sizes.
