Very good value, but misleading to advertise as "wool" socks when its only 35% wool & balance of materials are not genuinely known as warmth factors. Average single layered thickness, not too thin, but not double layered for boot thickness, soft material, not scratchy & rise over ankles as crew sock length. Good huggability on the foot with enough stretch for toe wiggling. Love the colors. Won't get lost in the dryer nor get mistaken for anybody else's sock mate. I'd even feel comfortable to mix & match with a giggle. Don't know how they hold up in wash, but a fun sock package that adds color to cool fall & drab winter days.

These socks are very comfortable, soft, warm and fun. They wash and dry well. I wear a size 8, a good fit for me, they may be too big for small feet. Good price!

Aside from being really pretty these are the most comfortable socks I’ve ever worn. They’re non-binding and warm but thin. I just put another pack in my shopping cart.

These socks are so nice and warm with pretty colors that coordinate with just about anything. Shrinks a little in the wash but not much. It's better if you do not put them in the dryer but let them air dry.

I’m giving 5 stars, even though the socks are not thick, nor all wool. 35% wool, 29% cotton, and 36% polyester. I received two pair as a gift, and finally found them on Amazon. They are soft, and just the right thickness for my sneakers. I do a lot of hiking, and they are not running socks, but they are so comfortable! Oh, and the price could not be beat!

There needs to be separate reviews for the different varieties. The more solid black, blue, purple with pleats are light and loose, meaning they don’t hug the foot and the heel doesn’t stay in place very well, nor do they keep my feet very warm. The other varieties I would give 5 stars. They stay in place and hug my foot well. Not super thick so not the warmest but the thinner material makes them a good option to wear with shoes while still adding a bit more warmth than your typical athletic socks.

These are well made, warm, and comfy. I've washed them in cold water and dried on low several times, and there has been no shrinkage or color fading. I've bought several sets and consider them a great value. Beautiful color combinations.
