If I looked for another (maybe larger one) In future I might look for one with a lid on the kettle as a few drops of water from the steam can drip off the bottom of the teapot. This is not a deal breaker for me and not a fault with this item as most seem to not have a lid, so just part of the expierience and getting used to the process. If you use an electric hob, it should be fine. However, I have to mention that sometimes the handles can be hot when I use gas hobs on a really high level ( I burned my previous teapot in that way, so it is cool; this one is metal).
