Love it
I received this helmet last Monday, 1/13/20 and had it on the road trying it out the next day. After topping off the charge it took all of about a minute to pair it with my Garmin Zumo 550. I did not pair it with a phone as I never use a phone while I'm on the go. I'll check for and make calls at rest breaks. All the other tech functions worked as advertised, including the FM radio. Pro's - the modular "pop open" feature is really nice for getting the helmet on and off or for simply taking a drink without removing the helmet - the internal smoked visor is great as it can be pulled down when I turn into the sun and retracted when I get into a shaded area - I love the chin insert that keeps cold air from trickling up around my neck and with the built in neck wrap in my riding jacket, they keep drafts out of the helmet. However, I ride with a full windshield so I don't know if direct air stream will intrude around it. - I kept all the vents open the day I rode with the helmet on but as with most full coverage helmets I presume this one could tend to fog up. In that event it would be easy to pop up the outside clear visor to clear it up. Again I ride with a windshield so riding with this visor up is not a big deal for me - it took a minute or two to get used to the chin strap hook up but in the end it's a lot easier to fasten/unfasten with heavy winter gloves on than the old "loop the strap through the rings" method - the sizing was spot on for me. I measure for a medium, ordered a medium and it fits well, even for me who far prefers half helmets. But if you get it wrong the padding inserts provide the sizing, not the helmet. The vendor apparently is willing to provide free replacements to get it right. Cons - the lowering/raising of the internal smoked visor is pretty stiff when trying to operate it while riding with the lever on the left side of the helmet. I attribute that to newness and it's easy to open the clear visor and push the smoked visor up if need be - the speakers are very tinny with zero bass. I won't bother playing music off my Garmin with them. Their quality is far behind the speakers in my 15 year old Interphone F4 that I use in my half helmet. I've communicated with the vendor and they assure me they are looking at improvements, both hardware and software - the volume controls are tied into the FM radio controls with a rotary knob. The basic operation of these two functions is relatively simple but can be frustrating to deal with at 120kph in traffic. Hold the knob too long while trying to turn down the volume and you activate the FM radio. I would prefer the more common method of individual buttons for up/down volume controls. All in all I think this helmet provides excellent value for the cost. It'll make my cold weather riding much more pleasant. And since I don't buy helmets for their entertainment features I won't downgrade it for the cons I listed. Note: I haven't tried pairing it with other helmets yet as I don't often ride in groups. If I do I'll update this review with the results.

EXCELLENT value product, and equally great customer service
I usually don't write long reviews, but this one will be a little lengthy. I really can't say enough good things about this helmet. It arrived well packaged and in good working order, with a fully charged battery. Everything on it functions precisely as advertised. I haven't had a chance to use the intercom function yet, but I will be purchasing a second helmet for my pillion because I am confident it will work well. Phone calls are perfectly doable, I've had them doing 60 mph and had zero issue hearing or being heard. The audio quality when listening to music is not high end stereo quality, but is fine , plenty loud enough, and above what I ever would have expected at this price point. Some people have stated that the sun screen is a little blurry to look through, it has a clear protective cover when shipped and it's perfectly clear when you remove it. The chin bar is easy to release and lift on the fly, and locks positively when pushed down. Wind noise with the helmet is perfectly tolerable, especially for a modular helmet design as opposed to a true full face. The helmet is well ventilated. The visor is easy to lift and lower and seals off quite well. It is not too heavy, and is quite comfortable to wear. I searched for months and you absoulutely will not find a helmet with a better value than this one. Anything comparable to the features and quality of this helmet is going to cost you over 800 dollars, and you really reach a state of dimminishing returns for your money at that point. There is literally nothing I don't like about this helmet. On top of receiving a good product, the customer service I have received from the seller had been excellent. I took the advice of many other reviewers and ordered a size up from what I normally wear, only to find that the helmet was too large. I posted a question on amazon asking if there was a place I could purchase a smaller liner to put into the helmet, and within fifteen minutes the seller answered with the message "please contact us as soon as possible." I did, and within minutes they responded again offered to send me a smaller liner for the helmet free of charge! Seriously, that kind of service alone is worth giving these folks my business. Coupled with the fact that it is a genuinely good product for a more than reasonable price, I would HIGHLY recommend this helmet. I will be buying another very soon, and probably one of their stand alone intercom to loan to friends I ride with so we can communicate.

Easy to use, convenient, not of highest quality materials, great features, worth the $$$
Right out of the Amazon box, quality of the FreedConn Flip Dual Visor Bluetooth motorcycle was presumed based of the helmets packaging; it was very plain, no images or writing except for check boxes for color and size, and a UPC sticker for what item was in the packaging. Helmet arrived in a poor quality fabric bag (that was inside out) with tie string, again, no logo or trademarks. The helmet itself was clean and everything seemed to work as it was intended; visor came down and went back up just fine multiple times in quick succession, release lever for front face worked without flaw, main visor opened and shut with ease, buttons and rotary knob worked as advertised. I'm 6'0" (183cm) and of a lean build at 176lbs, yet if the helmet is on my head in a certain manner, the tinted inner visor (which also has protective peel-away plastic, don't forget to remove it) would just barely hit my nose, see photo, but not enough to cause any pain, just a light shock of surprise, and if I apply light pressure to the front, my mouth will hit the inside front of the flip-up part of the helmet, see photo, which is hard plastic. I do like that the tinted inner visor can be down while the flip-up face can be open, which needs a little extra push to lock full-open. Connecting the bluetooth was quite easy, if you don't read the instructions, you turn on bluetooth and discovery on your phone, then hold the center button on the wheel, you'll hear a tone and see a flashing bluelight on the "VOL +" side and the "VOL -" side has a red flashing light on the helmet until your phone discovers it, then tap "BM2-S" on your phone's "Available Devices" list to connect. And to connect after that, you just power the helmet on, and in your phone's bluetooth "Paired Devices," tap "BM2-S" to connect. As easy as pie. As far as audio quality goes, it has very low quality speakers, unless you have a phone with a built in Equalizer you can adjust manually or to preset settings, it's going to sound horrible for you. I use a Samsung Galaxy S9+, so I'm able to tweak each ear's individual equalizer settings and get the best out of it. The FM radio feature is a great addition, I didn't realize that until I opened up the package. I do wish there was a next/prev song button feature, oh well. I wear glasses and this helmet goes on and off pretty easily without messing up my glasses, as long as the flip-up face is flipped up, and the tinted inner visor doesn't hit my glasses, as long as the helmet is sitting perfectly on my head and not at an awkward angle where it hits my nose. The helmet has some slight give when you splay it apart to put on and off. I also don't like the "click-in" chin strap, it's a nice feature, but the quality of the plastics and metals doesn't seem very high, so not very trustworthy. Overall, this is a pretty solid first helmet with features I really like, maybe in the future if there are some updates to features and quality of materials used, I'll definitely have to upgrade.

Wow! What a Great Helmet
I just got the helmet a couple of days ago but so far this helmet is fantastic. I had read a couple of bad reviews so naturally I was unsure but there were some very positive reviews as well so I decided to go for it. The helmet looks great, I ordered a tinted visor also and with that now attached it looks even better. The quality appears very good, it’s very comfortable to wear, the air vents keep me cool which is great because it’s been in the mid 90’s. My old helmet was an XL and that’s what I ordered, the fit is very good for me. The music sounds really good, I ride a HD but I can still hear my music just fine but I do wear hearing aids so I don’t know if I’m getting an advantage in regards to that. I haven’t tried using the phone yet so I can’t offer an opinion on that but I’m confident it’ll be good. The controls on the side are easy to use it just takes some practice. The helmet also has a tinted flip down visor built in which I was unaware of, it’s kind of like the visors you see on a fighter pilots helmet. I guess you may not need to buy an additional tinted visor but I do like the one I bought. On Saturday I contacted support for instructions for changing the visor and they responded the next day. It’s very simple to swap out the visor. I can’t offer an opinion on the battery life as it’s too soon. But I can say it is very easy to attach the battery. I’m really very happy with the helmet so far. I can’t understand why people have given bad reviews but I know sometimes a bad product can slip through, also some people perhaps don’t follow the instructions so maybe that can be a reason for problems. Lastly the gloves they send for free are XL’s and I normally use a medium sized glove but surprisingly they fit (pardon the pun) like a glove plus they’re better than the ones I had before.

Excellent Helmet With Bluetooth!
I am writing this review after using this helmet for few weeks. I was looking for a helmet that has the bluetooth without having to pay a high price. This helmet fit my budget. -Bluetooth works great. I can sync my phone and receive calls. The voice quality is good if you are driving less than 50mph. After that it breaks off partly due to wind noise. So while talking over the phone, i reduce my speed. -Once i was returning home late in the night on my motorcycle. I had my phone hooked to my handlebar as my GPS, but couldn't constantly keep looking at my phone and was afraid that i might miss a turn. I synced my phone to this helmet and had my google maps turned on my phone while driving, and i was clearly able to hear the navigation voice when its time to take a turn. That gave me enough confidence while driving. So if you don't have a GPS, but want to use your phone for navigation maps, the bluetooth on this helmet will come in handy. (Make sure you download offline maps on your phone in case you drive out of your cell phone coverage area.) - The Radio works great although sometimes there is not enough clarity. I can change stations easily. If you are driving at high speed, there is disturbance. It helps me within the city with low speeds and when i am stuck in traffic. - The internal visor is really good and easy to switch on and off. I don't use my googles anymore as this is sufficient enough to protect me from sun rays. This helmet has good ventilation. - I ordered a Large helmet and its a bit tight at my ears. I wrote to customer support and they sent me a new liner for XL. I haven't tried it yet, but want to acknowledge them for good customer care. I am planning an adventure ride with my friends. I will recommend my friends to buy the same helmet so that we can sync and communicate over bluetooth while driving together. Overall i am very satisfied with this helmet.

Terrible! Most uncomfortable helmet ever.
I bought my first motorcycle in 1984 and have owned several helmets over the years. This is by far the most uncomfortable helmet I have ever worn. There’s plenty of padding on the sides and back, but not enough padding on the top and forehead area, where it rests most of the weight. I took a two hour ride my first time wearing this helmet and as you see in the picture my forehead was red and had an indentation from where it rested. It was so painful I almost cut the ride short. I circled the area in the picture of the inside of the helmet to show where it obviously is deficient in padding. I bought these on sale and they included a free pair of gloves (that were two small), a free balaclava and a free set of arm sleeves that were as thin as panty hose. I bought 2 of these when on sale for $199 and thought I was getting a deal. I wish they had of skipped giving me free stuff I don’t need, and instead made a helmet that was actually wearable. It also has a lot of wind noise, even though it doesn’t feel very ventilated. On top of all that, the instructions for bluetooth and intercom were difficult to understand and it took several attempts to connect. Then when I tried to have a phone conversation, it was impossible because it kept cutting in and out (probably because of wind noise) and the person I was trying to speak with said they were hearing weird high pitched sounds like feedback, perhaps from wind? I tried to reach out to them to see if they wanted to send a new padding insert and they never responded. This was a horrible purchase and I would suggest you to avoid this one if you are looking for a helmet.

Freedconn BM2-S Bluetooth helmet with flip down visor.
Just got 2 of these helmets, one for my wife and one for myself. This is our first helmets with a intercom system, which we bought for our new/used Goldwing. We have not yet used these helmets on the open road at the time of this review because there is still snow on the ground up here in the great white north. :( Right out of the box I was impressed! The helmets have a space age vibe that is really pleasing to the eyes. The high gloss black is so clean and shinny, what a great job they did. The clear visor is easy to open and close, while the sun visor is so awesome with its wrap around protection from the sun, which should work great on the road. The sun visor raises and closes with a side slide that works easily with a quick flip. I did play with the visor some and if the visor or modular unit is up, you can also easily push the visor up with your hand without resistance locking it in the up position. The front face of the Modular helmet opens easily by pressing on the button located on the inside of the chin section of the helmet. The face of the helmet locks into the upright position which should work great when operation our bike with the helmet in the half shell position. The face can be lowered with little effort and locks in the closed position (although it does take a little effort to lock it closed). The size of the helmet runs on size smaller than labeled. When at the motorcycle shop I took a Large and my wife a small when we tried the modular helmets there. Based on the size chart for these helmets, I took a XL and my wife a Med. When we put on the helmets they fix just right, and if you use the chin straps to pull the helmet open a little while putting it on you don't even have to take your glasses off. I found this a plus, although my ears did fold a little, but that is not a problem. The view through the visor is nice and wide giving ample view of my surroundings. Now for the Bluetooth system: The Bluetooth system is easy to charge with the cord supplied by just plugging it into your computer or a USB wall plug in (not provided). It was very easy to follow the directions to connect to both my phone and helmet to helmet. The sound from the speakers inside the helmet were very clear and nice, while the mic built into the left side of the helmet picked up my voice easily. Switching between the helmet to helmet com, music and voice phone isn't hard, but will take some getting use to. The ONLY negative thing I can find in the whole helmet is the "Ding" sound that comes through it when changing between the different com processes. It is loud, even with the volume turned down. I haven't found a way to control it yet, and will continue to find an answer to this issue.

Cool looking helmet, sturdy build, crappy sound
The design is great, looks very cool, very sturdy built and fits very nicely however when I paired the Bluetooth, the sound quality is not so great. I would expect a helmet this expensive would maybe have at least JBL quality sound. I got the Cardo 45mm speakers with the JBL driver and a female headphone Jack and did a little modification work. Now it sounds a bit better, still not much bass but the sound is a little clearer however not by to much which leads me to believe the headphones weren’t the issue. The sound produced by the Bluetooth receiver is just not great.
