Holy Cow, this stuff works like magic! It took many years of crud off my pontoon logs in minutes and they look like new now. 95% of it rinsed off. in some spots, especially right at the waterline where the gunk was thickest and most solid, I reapplied and scrubbed with a car tire brush and the thick stuff disappeared. My little boat is only 15' and it took the entire jug and didn't quite get all the inside surfaces that don't show anyway. As a test, I used a pressure washer on parts of a log and didn't notice any difference in how the StarBrite removed the crud, so don't waste your time. I had the pressure washer out doing the deck so I ran it over the trailer really well to make sure none of the acidic wash remained. I also pulled the log drain plugs, rinsed them and sprayed them with silicone to keep them topnotch. It actually took longer to get the boat on the trailer (on a very windy day) than to wash the logs. Yes, it is that quick and easy. Next time I won't wait so long to wash the boat, which BTW stays in the water year round.

I don't normally write reviews. However, this stuff is the first exception. I used it on a 2003 aluminum horse that had not been thoroughly clear in 15+ years. It worked GREAT!!! I was completely shocked at well it stripped years of oxidation off the side of the trailer. Of course I used a heavy duty Scotch-Brite scour pad but this cleaner made the job easier and did a better job than I could have ever imagined. I HIGHLY recommend.

First, pour in another spray bottle. Worked for about 10ft & leaked so bad it couldn't spray. Work in small sections, bottom up, scrubbed with non scratch scrubby to evenly apply. Only took a 3-4mins to go from old to new. As directed. The sprayer was very adjustable to apply pretty evenly at first ...having it keep working was most frustrating. Good product but poor applicator. I'll use it up eventually, but not very happy I have to fill spray bottles.

I used this stuff on an aluminum utility trailer I've had for a few years and was getting ready to sell. It had been covered in leaves and had junk piled on it. I pressure washed it which removed most of the heavy stuff but it was still stained with lots of brown markings that the machine didnt touch. I sprayed it with the cleaner and let it sit a few minutes. I took a stiff brush on a pole and swabbed it and the brown marks just disappeared. It is nasty stuff, I had to make sure I was upwind otherwise the fumes would knock you out. I also wore gloves to protect my hands. The spray head worked well on its own.

Supplied Sprayer leaked so bad, threw it away & put in a cheaper Spray bottle. Cleaner works Great.

This was AMAZING cleaning the pontoons on our boat. Spray on, wait a few minutes and hose off. We are beyond thrilled at how well this worked.

While the chemical works at brightening aluminum, the spray attachment broke after squeezing the handle 3 times. Very disappointed as others have mentioned

This stuff is amazing! I would recommend this to anyone. Just be sure to read instructions and start from the bottom up and you will be ok.

Used this to clean some lower aluminum control arms for a collector car. They came out looking better than new. Nice and shiny, Removed all corrosion and left a brilliant finish. Some light scrubbing was needed on a few spots, other wise spray let sit 5 mins and pressure washed off. Would recommend and will buy again.

Love it when a product works as advertised. The oxidation on our boat was getting really bad. I was leery about a product that would work but this one definitely exceeded expectations. Given how bad this was on our boat, I applied a first coat, dabbed it with a large sponge to avoid dripping) let it sit for about 5 mins and then used a soft scouring sponge to scrub the deeply affected areas. I reapplied (dabbed with the sponge again) and let sit for another 5 mins or so. The results, as you can see in the picture, were great. Couldn’t be happier with the product, highly recommend. Key here is to be patient, take the time needed to let the product do the work.

Took a bit to get the hang of how to spray it without dripping stains. Works well. Took off years from our horse trailer. Make sure you wear gloves, it burns your hands

Excellent product for cleaning aluminum boats. Spray on - wait 3 to 5 min. Rinse off. I used a small brush to keep the product on the vertical surfaces and followed up with a second light spray to keep the surface wet. Would be nice if the product was a bit thicker to stick to vertical surfaces better - however the fact that I am not scrubbing algae or oxidation build up is fantastic. This one bottle did the sides, back, bottom of 19ft boat with a little left over - took me about 2 hours working at 5 ft sections at a time. For the price vs time - we'll with it. I used a branded bottom cleaner the year before - $30 and spent the entire day scrubbing. Wear long sleeves and long pants as well as gloves and eye protection. It does sting a bit. Rinse well with plenty of water - with you and the boat.

The product works great. Unfortunately, we lost about 30% due to a leak in the container which was not shipping damage. The spill was contained in the plastic bag. Clearly left the manufacturer with the leak. Marshall
