A must have for your backpack if you plan on spending more than a weekend in the wilderness. Makes fire-starting easier. Very easy to use and is reliable. Very light to carry and definitely worth having on extended trips So glad that I purchased.

Compact survival emergency tool!

I often go into the wilderness and was never satisfied with a smaller fire starter I previously carried in my emergency kit. This larger, well-made fire starter is larger and is much more comfortable to grip and use with its design. It provides much more intense sparks. And the waterproof compartment for tinder is a big plus. The emergency whistle is a useful design bonus.
