Where can you buy replacement cartridges?

Good wine shops carry replacement cartridges as does the Coravin website adn Amazon as well.

So, how potentially hazardous is this system actually, anything to consider that isn't immediately obvious?

There is absolutely nothing about this system and/or device. The gas (argon) is inert and just protects the wine. Inert gas doesn't react with anything. A Champagne bottle is designed to witstand a lot of pressure, but this doesn't add pressure as much as what was originally in the bottle. If you're interested, get it. It works.

Does this also work for still wines?

No - Per Coravin, this is an important safety note. The Coravin Sparkling System is designed for use with sparkling wines only. Do not use the Sparkling System on still wines. Still wines have a different bottle design and composition than the bottles used for sparkling wines. Using the Coravin Sparkling System on still wine bottles may cause the still wine bottle to break and could cause serious injury.

efficace !

j'ai acheté ce produit pour pouvoir ouvrir une bouteille de champagne et etre en mesure de la finir en 2 ou 3 fois , plusieurs jours plus tard si je le souhaitais. Résultat bluffant , meme une bouteille au 3/4 vide , on la remplie de gaz , le champagne conserve toute son effervescence, meme 4 JOURS plus tard. Franchement je recommande , certes ,ce n'est pas donné, mais il n y a pas d'équivalent pour obtenir ce résultat désiré. Consommation du gaz raisonnable aussi , Top !

savourer un mousseux sur plusieurs jours

Ce coravin pour mousseux était attendu. Plus obligé de terminer son mousseux pour ne pas le perdre. Ni se priver d'un bon champagne parce qu'on est seul! Le vin garde ses bulles pendant plusieurs jours.
