Great looks. Disappointing quality, comfort and customer service
I searched for weeks looking for a leather gaming chair that looked great that had excellent reviews. I thought that I had found what I wanted in spite of the $1,200 cost and just a few video reviews, all being very positive. After receiving the chair, I was very disappointed. Here is why. 1. Quality. The chair arrived with the back scuffed, possibly being jostled during shipping. The stainless-steel emblem on the back of the chair was scratched, as if someone tried to polish it with something abrasive. I rightly expected more for the price. It looked like a used chair. 2. Comfort. My wife was very disappointed with the hardness of the seat. I was thinking about waiting for a couple of weeks to see if it softened, but due to the short period of the return policy and the condition upon arriva1l, I sent it back. Kudos to Amazon for the best return policy. 3. Customer Service. It is the job of customer service to appease the customer. They did their job. However, they were working under guidelines that were difficult and limiting. I called to see if I could return the damaged chair for a replacement. The answer was that I could ship it back and they would gladly send a replacement. Interestingly, I live on a hill and I CAN SEE THEIR WAREHOUSE FROM MY BACK YARD!!! When I asked if I could drive it over, the answer was a firm no. I knew that taking apart a gaming chair is next to impossible without damaging the base and gas cylinder, thus violating the return policy, so I called again the next day. This time I was told that they would check with a superior. I didn't want to wait, so I was able to cram it into the original box and returned it with a large hump on the top of the box. A couple of days later customer service said that I could bring the damaged part in and they would replace it. Sorry, too late. Thermaltake lost a sale. I purchased the chair relying on the idea that Thermaltake is a large company and banked on this chair living up to a set of high standards. Other than the reviews I found online, I did not find a lot of actual customer reviews. The video reviews were all very positive but now I feel that they were possibly biased and misleading. Of course, if I got a free $1,200 chair to review, I would gladly highlight the good and gloss over the not so good. Welcome to the world of paid reviews... Bottom line. The chair looks great. I wish that my purchase would have worked out. Due to the chair arriving damaged, initially uncomfortable and company policy on returns, I sent it back and got a full refund from Amazon.

Great chair with amazing looks!
I don't understand all the negative reviews for this chair. The leather is top quality. The support is amazing and it has just the right amount of cushioning for many hours of continuous use. I'm a 200+lb taller guy and it fits me perfectly with plenty of hip room and support for my long back. It's by far the most comfortable office/gaming chair I've ever had. The wheels work great on carpet which is a rarity. I have had the chair for 8 months and it still looks brand new. The best part is it's a gorgeous design. I did get the chair for over half the current price and I'm not sure it's worth full price. I wouldn't pay the nearly $1300 but quality office chairs are not inexpensive, especially those with top-grade leather.

Never buying furniture from Amazon again
Package arrived missing the five star base. Very heavy. The only option Amazon gives is to return the whole thing for a refund or replacement. Huge hassle and having to arrange pickup for this big box. Only buying from manufacturer or online retail sites from now on. Would be so simple to just send the piece that's missing but that's not an option with Amazon. It's a shame because the chair seems nice for the parts that did arrive but it's ridiculous that they would forget to pack one of the pieces.

Great for the looks
Starting with comfort, this is not a plush seat. It is very hard and seems to be geared for someone heavier than 180lbs-190lbs, but not made width wide for a big person 200+lbs. Very hard leather, I am sure over time the leather will mature. There is no lumbar support, so if you have back or neck problems be advised. This chair is not as functional as it should be in some areas, like the armrest. The armrests are either in the way and they do not lock in place, so they are constantly on the move. The reclining handle is very odd, whereas the locking mech sticks outward. It just does not flow well with the chair sticking out. Also there is also a little slop movement in the upright position. Finger print central, I find myself wiping the back area of this chair often enough. Recall how times you have to wipe the finish of a chair down...hardly ever right? Price, The asking price of $1200 is a no-go...unless or however you just want a leather chair and money is not a concern. Now, if the backing was carbon fiber and the armrest locked in place and nothing stuck out....okay. $600 is an okay place to start but still does not seem like the best deal, In comparison to Razer Iskur Gaming Chair, it corrects everything this chair offers except for real leather. This is a nice looking chair...but does not benefit the support of a hardcore gamer for comfort. This chair would look nice in an office space like a car dealership or something super modern. Not a good gift for people with back and neck problems Not a good gift for kids or pets. Great Gift for someone Streaming or doing some live.
