Red Front Loader Washer & Dryer test (customer images)…
Project Background: My darling husband purchased a used red Maytag front loading washer and dryer for me. Yay right? Wrong. As you can see from the customer images that I uploaded (the one with the blue strap across) they were beat to h***. Great. My old ones weren’t even in bad shape. I don’t even know how they would get that beat up. Anyway, there were scuffs all over, paint transfers from smacking walls, and scratches ranging from light scuffs to deep gouges on the doors especially. So needless to say when I purchased this product I had very little hope despite the reviews. I started off by wiping the set down with Windex, then used a toothbrush and Awesome cleaner (available at Dollar General for $1 and will clean just about anything) which removed the paint and any grime that was stuck on. Then I polished it down with Windex to remove the film left over by the Awesome. The after scrub pic can be seen in the scratched door image of the set. Then I went to work with the Novus. I started with 1 to clean any remaining lint, dust, etc. then used the 3, 2, 1 respectively per the instructions. The product is recommended to be buffed off and repeated as necessary. This wasn’t really doing much as you can see it was quite a job for the Novus. So I tried it my way next. I took the 1, sprayed then immediately wiped. Next I took the 3, squirted it in my hand and rubbed it all over the surface. I let it dry then wiped it off in a circular, buffing type motion. The product dries and wipes off like a dried powdery, chalky substance. Think thick wet chalk that has dried. I repeated this process with 2, then polished with 1. Results: I have uploaded 4 customer images. I am pretty amazed by the results. Now don’t get me wrong, this product does not defy logic. The really deep scratches were better but still visible from some angles. But as you can see from my customer images, overall it did a wonderful job on this washer and dryer. Ultimately my results exceeded my expectations. Well worth the 16 bucks in my opinion, as I have plenty left (this project only used about a couple ounces of 2 & 3 and a few spritzes of 1 when used quite liberally) to use around the house. Note: If you put it on coated surfaces (ie. the grey door trim or silver handle) it will not make the scratches disappear and will leave a hazy film behind. I just cleaned that up with a bit of Windex on a rag and it did not damage the surface in any way. Also worth mentioning, on the clear coated red finish of the set it did work, but not to the level of amazing that it worked on the clear front of the doors. Even if it doesn’t work for some deep, deep scratches or gouges, it is still worth the $$ because of its effectiveness on the medium to light stuff. I am perfectly happy and will be purchasing this stuff in bulk!

It works perfectly
I use it for hand polishing and the products turn out great. The one I use most is number 2, which is also the one that runs out first.

This stuff works and doesn't mess up your windshield!
I purchased this to remove fine and deep scratches from my side-by-side's lexan windshield. I put the scratches in simply by scraping ice off of it this winter. Maybe there was some mud, sand and silt mixed in there. Anyway, the windshield was a mess. I had read about all of the elbow grease required so purchased a oribital palm polisher and two fleece pads from Harbor Freight for about $25. I tried the deep scratch remover on a small area to see if it would totally mess it up with a lot of scratches, but it did not - even the deep scratch remover has a polishing effect and leaves the surface clear, not hazy. Well, then I tried the No. 2 fine scratch remover and could not see much of an effect at first. So, I went back to the No. 3 and polished each side of the windshield for about 15 minutes each using the orbital palm polisher. I made sure I only used the No. 2 on the one fleece pad and the No. 3 on the other fleece pad so as not to mix the abrasives. Doing this all by hand would have taken hours, if not days to get the same effect. After working each side of the windshield for 15 minutes and cleaning off the white residues, I started seeing an improvement. So, I worked each side of the windshield another 15 minutes with the No. 3, cleaned off, and then went to work with the No. 2, for at least 15 minutes each side, and then cleaned off. I would say I experienced about a 75% improvement in windshield clarity. Only the deep scratches remain, but they are a lot less visible. I think if I needed to I could spend another hour or so on this windshield and get the remaining deep scratches out. I only used about 2 1/2 ounces, of each bottle, so have plenty left. I am happy with this product, it is very true about the elbow grease required (hence the 4 stars), therefore I recommend you get a power tool if you have a large surface, say over 1 square foot, to polish. I learned my lesson with this lexan windshield, don't scrape ice off it and don't rub on it with anything dirty or abrasive! Best to just power-wash it.

Restores Eyeglass Lenses and Vintage Frames
My husband originally purchased Novus no. 1 a couple of years for automotive use, but he also tried it on his polycarbonate eyeglass lenses, and we have been very impressed with it as a lens cleaner. It buffs out fine scratches, so the lenses are easier to see out of, and it maintains them well. It even cleared up lenses with multiple scratches. We ran out of novus no. 1 and for a few months I had been using other things to clean my glasses. We recently ordered this kit with Novus no.1, Novus no. 2, and Novus no. 3. My husband first used number two and three on some scratches in a car door and he thought they really helped with it. I used them on my eyeglasses. I have a vintage pair of semi-translucent cat eye frames (complete with rhinestones) from the fifties that I purchased used about two years ago. After daily use, these frames had started to look pretty dull. I was especially disappointed with the bridge-- it had a sort of filmy appearance. After cleaning my frames and lenses, I tried a bit of No. 2 on a small spot and I thought it helped. I used it all over my frames, but I wanted some more improvement, so I tested and then used No. 3. Wow! After thoroughly and carefully applying no.3 all over and polishing my frames with it, they were really looking remarkably better. After using no.3, I carefully polished them with no.2 a few times. I then cleaned them with no.1. I was amazed because these glasses now look better than they did when I first purchased them. The plastic has been restored and the filmy appearance is entirely gone. More impressively, after polishing and cleaning, I can now see details I never saw before, like the brand name on the inside of one arm, and the size of the frame. The area around the rhinestones is also remarkably cleaned and the lenses are very clear. I never expected this level of improvement without paying for professional cleaning. As an aside, I'm also pleased by with bottle design. I dropped the Novus no.1 while I was using it and the spray top broke off. I'm clumsy and I've broken plenty of spray tops on things, and sometimes that means I can't use the product anymore. With these bottles that isn't a concern because I can just unscrew the top and transfer the contents to another sprayer and then recycle the bottle. I play on trying this system on other accessories and appliances.

Saved me the cost of a new windshield.
I used this product years ago to keep tanning bed clean, but I never dreamed it could clean up my UTV windshield clear enough see out of. With just a little “elbow grease” it cleaned the scratches right out.

Not fine enough to make look new.
I am weary to give this even three stars. The bottle says motorcycle fairings/plastic but it did not deliver to the degree I was hoping. I've done paint correction and can get a perfect finish on car paint but not with plastic. I tried so many different approaches with this product from hand to low setting to high setting on a DA polisher, I tried jumping between different pads. Ultimately getting the best results with the finishing pad on the lowest setting and even going back over with the Novus "pads", which are just overpriced paper towels, with very light pressure then allowing to dry and with a clean cloth with firm short strokes like the directions said. I couldn't get the shine close to what the stock shine was. If Novus has one or two steps more I could see it happening but the number 2 was just too abrasive to get a mar free finish like you can on car paint even with the lightest of pressure and following the directions. I could see this product being useful in clearing up plastic but it did not suit my needs. I will say that the #2 polish is even finer than both Grits Garage perfecting cream and Finishing Sealant as I tried both with a Finishing pad and the Novus 2 got a better shine than they did but still not good enough. Is there a finer polish out there? For now I guess if I want a perfect finish then brand new plastics are the way to go. Its disappointing that I can get my motorcycle gas tank to have a perfect finish(it is paint on metal) but not my plastics.

It works 👌
Great product, it made a hell of a difference after I applied it to my car's console. With the deeper scratches, just remember you have to work the surface out with the heavy remover, it's not that you apply and scratches disappear, specifically with the deeper ones you got to rub it in for few minutes then apply the light remover to refine, followed by the spray, buff it for shine, then you see the result.

Lucidare PS3/PS4 e schermo Game Boy
Ottimo prodotto!

It actually does work.
I was skeptical of using this as I didn't think it would be able remove a deep scratch from my vintage power VU meter. I concentrated on just using the heavy scratch remover with a microfiber cloth. After about 20 minutes I noticed it was getting better but far from gone. So I got my Dremel tool and a cotton wheel attachment and using just a slower then medium speed applied the heavy scratch remover to the cotton wheel and the bezel and went over the effected area in both directions and reapplied the liquid many times and I was seeing a big improvement. I went back to microfiber cloth and rubbed more of it in for about 10 minutes and I will be dammed the scratch was virtually gone. Applied the fine scratch remover and buffed some more then the polish for the last step. And I will be dammed but the scratch is virtually gone. So impressed how this came out.
