Why would you even sell this

Because it's a batman lamp.... why wouldn't they sell this?

Does the bulb stick out of the top?

Yes the bulb did stick out and looks weird and we even tried a little bulb too. Looked silly. Also our first one that was ordered came with the lamp shade upside down and there was no way to turn it around it was like glued or something. I sent it back and requested a replacement and the replacement came upside down too. It is not as advertised. I returned it and got a refund pretty disappointing

What type of lightbulb works best? I put one in there and its bigger that the shade!
