It's wood! it has to burn!. Two main reasons your incense won't burn. # 1 not fully dry, cones take quite a while to dry. Sometimes days. And or too much resin in your mix. Best to start with 15-20 percent resin to Joss powder. I'm a person with little or no patience. I put everything in my Dehydrator. Cones take anywhere from 4-12 hours, sticks take 4-5 hours.

The powder smells great in the bag but has no smell when it burns. It is a great binder if you are making your own incense, but know that it offers no smell of it's own - it's primarily just a binding agent and ignitor for homemade incense.

This powder was easy to use and I made some amazing incense for my company with this!

Making incense cones... however none of my ones will stay burning, even when using the seller's own recipe. My cones are dry, so moisture isn't the problem.
