If the gloss paint is not available, what product do you recommend to paint over these AB matte paints to give a gloss effect (w/out yellowing)?

The Mod Podge Spray sealer 1470 would work for this application.

does it work on pumpkins?

Yes You can use Apple Paints on pumpkins. Please no t you will have to spray with a sealer if Pumpkins will be placed out in the elements.

Love all the shades, great for candle painting as well as canvas

I was actually surprised with how great these colors are. Many different shades that are not runny and are extremely vibrant. Used them to candle paint and it went great!
