Is it true that the stylus that comes with the board is useless, as one reviewer has stated?

The stylus is junk. The hard stylus with the previous model was great but this is a soft-tip stylus that lasts about 3 seconds. We have 3 of the older smaller Vibe Boards and 1 of the 75" board with the new stylus and no one wants to use the new board because of the stylus and a more difficult user interface.
