Size matters!
This thing is small but also big inside. Does the jobs it’s supposed to & runs quite. Got the error code everyone speaks of with the upset reviews on my first run, but then I just cut the waste water hose to length so it’s not all bound up and doesn’t have to force the pump to push hard & it instantly went away. Setup took less then 30 mins & I was up & running in a breeze. Would highly recommend. I grabbed the 2 year warranty just in case but so far 2 washes in and I’m proud to own this little big guy. Also if your worried about a smell like the other people mentioned , open it & let it air dry & periodically run a dishwashing cleaner threw it. I see no issues as of yet. I’ll add my setup pictures soon & keep you updated! UPDATE! It's been months since I bought this & still works like a charm! Love it! 8/21/24

Perfect for a small home or camper
We couldn’t install a full size dishwasher in our vacation home due to the way the plumbing runs but this solved the problem. Took awhile to figure out the plumbing as I wanted it embedded in the cabinet and permanently plumbed but it works perfectly and looks great! Obviously it doesn’t hold as much as a full size machine but for 2 seniors who don’t cook much this is perfect. I run it once a day and it only takes 3 gallons of water. I love it!

Better than Expected
The dishwasher works really well, better than I expected actually. It get everything squeaky clean! There are two small issues, one is that it is easy to get something in the way of the soap dispenser door that prevents it from opening fully. Be mindful of the area designated for the door to open and be sure nothing gets on the way. Secondly, the 72 hour hold apparently keeps the fan running and I have not figured how to turn it off so that it doesn’t come back on. It’s even turned itself on when the door is opened. Hopefully that isn’t using too much electricity! Otherwise, I am really pleased. It works well and it’s much much quieter than the built-in dishwasher that was in my last apartment, which wasn’t very old.

Terrible Customer Service, Defective Unit
To be fair, I cannot rate the product itself because right out of the box it never worked. Immediately upon hooking everything up, I received the error code "E02", which, according to the user manual is a "thermistor short circuit". So, clearly a defective unit. I contacted Costway customer service, it took them 2 days to get back to me. When they did get back to me, they asked me to wait while they try to find a solution. Then, I was told to take the unit to a repair shop and they would reimburse me up to $80 for repair. Are you kidding me? You want me to take a brand new device in to get repaired? This is crazy. I can see if I have been using it for a few months and it broke, but again, it NEVER worked right out of the box. The only appropriate response would be to immediately send me a new, working unit. Now, even to return it, I have to pay the shipping cost. This is bad business.

Surprisingly quiet
We needed a dishwasher for our little cabin in the woods, and we had no counter space to rip out. So, we went with a counter-top model. I've purchased from Costway before and have been happy. The setup of this unit is really easy - its just ripping out some shipping tape and styrofoam and such. The hardest part was getting the clamp around the drain port and pipe, but just use a pair of pliers and its much easier. The water hooked up really smoothly and we were done with setup. The inside is a bit roomier than I had envisioned for a counter-top unit, and I was able to wash everything we used for dinner in a couple of loads. The pans took a load by themselves. I left the food remnants on the bowls and they came out sparkly clean. This fit perfectly between my sink and the fridge, so I couldn't have asked for anything better since it needs to be next to (or close to) the sink (and power) to properly operate. It runs on a simple 110v plug. Noise wise, we ran it while watching TV and forgot it was even running - its quite quiet for what its doing. In fact I'll hurry and record a video and attach it here so you can listen to it. The one thing I'm not sure of is if I should be using a normal sized POD in this unit or if I should just get some powered detergent instead? I would think that a full-sized Cascade POD might be too much detergent? I'll keep experimenting. Overall, I'm super happy to have a dishwasher at the cabin now! Even for the simple fact of being able to sanitize dishes with hot water now - thats awesome to have. Highly recommended item.

Big family - Big needs
This dishwasher was my second choice after the first one arrived with the box cut (with a box cutter) open and washer broken. FedEx'd y'all. So glad I chose Costway's unit. This was a housewarming gift for a family with four teenage boys. After setup, I waited to hear and see how this model performed. It is very quiet ... so quiet the mom wondered if it was running. Now that's quiet. It was fully loaded. The plastic dishes, greasy utensils, bowls and glasses all came out clean and dry. The mom was so happy - no more drying dishes. It takes a small amount of generic powdered soap, and we used Finish brand for water spots. I have a built-in dishwasher, but if I didn't, I would buy this one.

Super quiet and efficient!
It is a small but powerful dishwasher for small household that does not have enough dishes to fit in a full-size dishwasher or for parents with little kids who want to avoid hand washing bottles and plates. It’s clean really well. It takes up less space than most microwave. It is quite very little noise! Such a great appliance this is the dish droid you are looking for!

UPDATE: (Original 5 star review is still 5 Stars). It is 2024 and I have been using this item for about 10 months. Since I never owned a countertop dishwasher before, my biggest concern was longevity so I thought I would add a quick update. I had a LOT of people over for the holidays and this thing put in some serious overtime and I was running it 5 or 6 times on some days. This beast saved me so much time and effort. My best purchase of 2023 for sure. So let me preface this review by saying this is my second unit; my first unit leaked quite a bit from the underneath (not the tubes), causing considerable water damage to my kitchen cabinets and it was returned within a week. The closest Purolator drop off point would not accept it because it was too big (found out after we got there) but I was able to schedule a home pick up and they picked this up free of charge. My point in writing this is KEEP THE ORIGINAL PACKAGING AS INTACT AS POSSIBLE FOR YOUR 30 DAY RETURN WINDOW. In the event that you need to make a return as I did, it will simplify your life greatly. I also want to say that Costway has some of the best customer service I have seen (I can be a picky customer when it comes to larger expenses if you couldn't tell), although be prepared to deal with multiple customer service reps (I had over 12). Regarding my review, I have had this machine for four months and use it once to three times each day in a household of 2. beforehand, I have been washing dishes by hand (NEVER AGAIN!). PROS: -Please be advised that this unit is sizeable and on the heavy side (especially with the packaging) and may be easier to set up with a partner); that being said it was operating within half an hour on the countertop. You will want to go through the included instruction booklet once (mainly for the icons) but I have not had to consult it again since. -This item looks great. It has a beautiful, polished look and feels sturdy, well made, especially compared to other brands of countertop dishwashers. The display is sleek and also easy to use. -This item is easy to maintain; I use dishwashing detergent powder (rather than tablets or pacs) because countertop are obviously smaller than full sized installed machines and this helps me regulate the amount I need. To give you an idea, I have used a box and a half (1.7kg) washing 1 to 3 times a day, and about two large bottles of rinse aid which I find reasonable budget-wise over the course of the year. I have had to clean out the twist out filter and give the metal drain quick scrub twice. -I can fit a lot of items into this unit with ease. I regularly put in entire pots with lids, large frying pans, or the entire basin and basket of an extra large air fryer. I can fit a full sized baking sheet in. I regularly wash all the dishes, utensils, chopping boards, prep materials in one load, and then the crockpot, air fryer baskets, or saucepans and frying pans in a second load without a problem. I think this could easily enough fit in all the plates, bowls, glasses, utensils, etc. for a family of four. Consider this carefully when purchasing a countertop dishwasher because even though smaller units might fit my needs, it is so nice not to have to play Tetris every time I load it up or Jenga when I want to unload it. -Most importantly: It cleans very well. I have put in oil soaked messes with caked on crud and been very pleased with the results. On a few occasions, I have had to wipe out food residue but I feel it cleans as well as a full-sized machine. -On a personal note, this saves me so much time washing dishes; I easily would spend 20 to 30 minutes doing dishes and this thing does a better job with less than 5 minutes of effort to both fill and empty the unit. A quick pre-rinse but no more pre-soaking, I haven't had to deal with a single greasy film, and no more scrubbing out the sink afterwards. I actually find that I cook more often because I don't have to worry about the clean up time afterwards anymore. -This also uses MUCH less water than I typically used washing by hand. CONS: -This unit is not light and takes up a lot of counterspace. Thank goodness I love how it looks. -You need a good two to three inches BEHIND the unit for electrical wires and to ensure the tubes do not kink, keep this in mind when considering product dimensions. Also, it is top heavy, especially with the door open which may be a tipping hazard if you have small children in the household. The water in the unit gets very hot. -When installing, I found that the metal ferrule that fits over the discharge tube is VERY hard to install correctly. You'll need tools. I have no idea why the discharge tube does not simply screw in similarly to the water intake tube. -If you connect to the sink, attaching and unattaching tubes is a small annoyance to get used to. I personally cut the discharge hose so it doesn't coil and have no regrets. -There is no see-through window or top-loading water supply like on some smaller dishwashers, both of which I thought were features I would want but neither of which I actually miss. -This is a more expensive unit on the market. -The unit makes considerable noise while operating. I would not say more than a normal dishwasher but you probably would not want to run it while having a candlelit dinner. -In my mind (particularly since I was traumatized by the first unit), it is only a matter of time until this thing one day breaks down and leaks. For my peace of mind I purchased a silicone mat that drains water directly into the sink and placed it under the unit. I encourage you to keep a close eye during the first week of operation to ensure there are no leaks. When operating properly, there should be no moisture outside the machine whatsoever. Conclusion: Despite the initial problems I have had, this product was well worth the effort and is one of my best purchases, ever. If it broke down next year, I would repurchase this item again simply based upon the time and effort this saves me in day-to-day life. My apologies for the long review.

I loved this dishwasher so much, it works really well for such a small product, sadly after 2years of use it's died with E05 error code, same as many others. Some might say, 2 years is a decent amount of time, however there was a time when you bought an electronic and it lasted decades.
