I do caution you that when you connect the LED strips to the wires from the box that you make sure that at the end of each connector you will see an arrow and you need to push the two connectors together so the arrows are on the same side or the LED strip will not light up. It is possible to plug them in backwards and I think that is something they should fix. You can cut the strip along any of the white lines between LEDS if you need to shorten the cable. I have 42" TV and I needed to cut off one LED and since it was from the end it was actually a longer cut than farther in. I don't think you need the cable to cover the vertical length of the back side of the TV. If you can get 75% or so of the length it should work fine. After peeling off the tape and sticking the LED strips to the BACK sides of the TV you should then plug the USB connector into a port on your TV or you can use a USB port on an electrical outlet. Then, remove the backing to the tape on the little control box and stick that to the back of your TV anywhere that is convenient. The remote control lets you choose a lot of colors and you and even have them flash, strobe, etc. But, for watching TV, I recommend pushing the button for White. You will notice that the TV seems to be easier on your eyes and the contrast improves a bit as well as better black/gray definition. An easy installation and a big improvement to your TV watching experience. I apologize for the video. I am not a videographer and taking video of light is apparently rather challenging. ### ⭐⭐⭐ they don't stick very well *by V***T on Reviewed in the United States on November 6, 2019* i've had this strip on the back of one of my tv sets for a couple years. the light is pretty and the remote is handy for setting a color you like. however the adhesive is not strong and the strips keep falling down. eventually i just said the heck with it - it still lights up whether it is stuck to the tv or not. ### ⭐⭐ Don't waste your money. *by T***Y on Reviewed in the United States on June 6, 2017* Terrible connectors.
