All of the parameters you could ever need for top end DIY / workshop use… fantastic bit of kit!

The multi metre had two choices Orange and Red... The demo video shows clearly there are two types of cables (pointer and crocodile clips... But sadly I only received the pointer cables with the Red multi metre.. no crocodile clips / cables as shown as well.

Works as it should

I bought this multimeter primarily to test my motorbike's battery and charging system. It did the job, basic instructions but easy to use and came with battery. Plenty of instruction on interweb for more advanced use. The meter was let down when the end of probe wire broke off where it fits into meter. I need to keep my finger on the socket when using the meter. I guess I can solder that back on. So, for the money, its probably worth buying.

Although this item arrived without the wire leads the seller refunded my purchase. I did however like the quality of this item and purchased another one. The second meter arrived complete with wire leads. It worked perfectly. The build quality seems very good as well. Great price point. Easy to use meter that I would highly recommended.

Update: After getting to use for a few days it turns that the PNP side of the transistor tester doesn’t work. I mostly work with NPN but occasionally use PNP and it stinks that this happened because it is surprisingly accurate and super affordable, but as usual, if it seems too good to be true it usually is. Using known good transistors they either zero out or show as a dead short. 12/19/2023 As an electrician of 20+ years, I’ve used a lot of meters. As I have moved into electronics, many of my Class 3 meters don’t have the DC features of this type of class 2 meter so I needed something to test transistors, diodes, and high ohm readings because those just aren’t part of a typical AC wiremen’s meter. This meter has all of the features I needed and then some. The diode and hfe testing are particularly welcome additions to a meter. The build quality seems very good. I wouldn’t toss it in a bucket of tools like I would my Flukes, but I see no reason that this unit can’t perform respectably if properly handled. The dual leads were a surprise as based on the photos and previous experience with low price meters, the leads are often the first thing they cheap out on. However in this case the probes feel to be well made, of a substantially gauged wire and have nicely formed tips with protective covers. Even the alligator clips are of good quality. If there is one strike against them it’s that they plug directly into the body rather than attaching to the probes, but this is purely a matter of personal preference. The backlight is even great. It makes the large, easy to read display visible in the darkest backstage area. Did I mention the unit even comes with battery installed, ready to roll right out of the box? I’m gonna buy five more and put one in every toolbox. I will update this review if anything notable occurs with the unit. Piece of advice; put dielectric grease(like used on spark plug wires) on the probes before first inserting them into the body. That will help them come out easier, keep corrosion out of the joint, and keep the probe from pulling out the jacks as another reviewer noted below.
