Saved our house.

Worked really well in a hard rain
Did you hear about that atmospheric river that ripped through So. Cal? We were in it, and we put these things around the low areas of our house. Stopped the water perfectly. Barriers are flexible so they form to the shape of whatever they lay against. Channeled all water to the drains. Happy with purchase

Great way to stop water or absorb it. Just follow the instructions.
These really saved our sun porch from flooding during Hurricane Milton in October 2024! The rain came down so fast we had a "lake" around the back of our house, and these prevented the water from coming in under the door (which is at ground level) or the lower windows (also at ground level). We knew just how great that was, because when we didn't have these in place, we got a lot of water in our sun porch during an earlier storm and it was a huge mess to clean up. I like that you can dry them out and use them again. We just left them out in place to dry out over the "winter" dry months and the are ready for storms again. I don't know how long the covering fabric (non woven, I think) will last in the Florida sun, but we have already ordered another canister to be prepared. Measure the area you need to protect to decide what size and how many you need.

Mostly Reliable and Reusable
I rely on these during our geoengineered torrential downpours in San Diego because the sewer drainage is never cleaned out, drains extremely slow, and the water comes into my driveway and right up to my door. I've used these for several years now because the city is deaf to the problems caused by inadequate drainage when it rains, and while I usually have good results with these dams, this year two of them that were in the bucket of 10 didn't inflate at all. That's never happened before. I had leftovers from a previous purchase that I used again. They seem to reinflate without much issue if you dry them out in a shaded area rather than let them dry out completely in the sun. Had it not been for that, I might have known earlier that two of the bags wouldn't inflate and could have sought a remedy through the seller. But regardless, I need to order more because the government does, in fact, geoengineer our weather and we never know for certain what kind of weather we are going to get. It can be pouring down rain and the weather radar map shows no precipitation at all, so it's necessary that I have enough of these on hand at all times. I haven't tried other brands. I would rather buy a product that I know is reliable. I only gave the water dams four stars however since two of the bags were useless. In spite of that, I would still recommend them.

Love these for in front of garage door in storms

Works well! Worth the small investment.
Bought these in 2024 for my mom’s place in Florida. She loves them. Soaked up a lot of water from storms that went through and kept her front door area and garage from water coming in. Worth the investment.

Prepper MUST
We had 12" of rain inside of 24 hours and was pleased with the results. Easy to prep, seem to be durable and pulled after rainy season passed. Size is wonderful, storage is tight/fair. Functioned as a diverter and a dam in different areas. Recommend for anyone that needs a temporary 'hand' with water control.

DO NOT BUY: Barriers will stop working
These Quick Dam barriers will stop swelling leading to water entering the area you want to protect. I’m not the type to write a review but based on the price I paid for these, how long they lasted and lack of customer service, I felt a need to share with others The barriers initially worked as expected. I was happy to find a product that worked to stop the water flow into a part of my yard. But then the barriers stopped swelling after less than a year. I emailed out to Quik Dan and their parent company(Absorbent Specialty Products) but no response. I documented the issue with photos and a video. As a consumer, you expect the product owners to respond to issues and to stand behind their warranty. For the price Quik Dam is asking for these barriers at and their lack of durability, consider other alternatives like a sand bag or other brands.

They work!

If you have any surface water concerns, you need this product. Water activated, they puff up quickly and divert water away from harm's way. They stay in place and are good for a rainy season. I always have a fresh pack on hand!

Got them after Dubai rains in April, used in the milder rains after that, fine for stopping water but have not tried it in true flood environment
