I drink two of these a day, one in morning and one at night; thus consuming one scoop a day in the 64 ounces of supplemented water. I drink lots of tea and iced black coffee as well. Adding these acids has not created any problems in my fasting, and it has greatly increased my comfort while doing so. I don't get muscle cramps or twitches, and I don't suffer from the fatigue or brain fog that I notice when I have even slightly low mag and potassium levels. I swear but this stuff and appreciate that it lasts a long time for me. PS: As far as mixability goes, I have found a way to get it incorporated. I add the acids to 8 ounces of water and mix in the half scoop of powder with a milk frother, then I let it sit for a few minutes while I putter around the kitchen doing other stuff. Then I give it another whirl before topping it with the other 24 ounces of water. It seems to dissolve much better in the cup of concentrated acidic water, rather than the diluted 32 ounces of water. Also, most of the other brands only contain between 5-10% of your daily value of one electrolyte while containing 110% of another - this one is very well balanced, which is really important to me. With saying that, I will also say that this product tastes terrible. The directions state to use it in 16 to 32 ounces of water, but even 32 ounces did not prevent it from tasting like salt and chalk. It also doesn't mix very well with the water, so you have to continuously shake or stir to make sure you're getting some with each sip. Adding lemon, fruit, or any type of water enhancer is also a terrible idea and just makes the experience worse. You are asking the wrong question :) You should be asking why all other products have such low amounts of the other nutrients, other than Sodium, which is about 8x cheaper than the others. It costs virtully nothing. Potassium is generally skimped on, infact all ingredients except the sodium is generally 'skimped" on for other products. They offer just a bit of salt water. You don't need to buy a product for that! There are many more electrolytes and minerals other than just salt - extremely important is also phosphorus. The ratio is not particularly relevant. They are independent nutrients with recommended amounts one should get per day, which is a range that scales quite considerably depending on the person and circumstances, especially for potassium. Potassium is extremely important. Generally 2,000-4,700mg of potassium is recommended per day, and sodium intake should be under 2,300 per day. If you are using a short shaker....thats not nearly enough water. Just add more water. at 2-4L (or 0.5-1 gallon) its virtually tasteless. You can also squeeze in lemon or lime juice. Usually if someone has trouble with the taste, they just don't use enough water. Again, we DO NOT flavor the item! It is 100% JUST the pure raw material :) Thats how they taste, there is no changing it. There is no way for us to reply to reviews. The sum total of the ingredients (Active) does not equal the much higher serving size because the materials have variable rates of the active ingredient. For instance, the Magnesium (from Magnesium Amino Acid Chelate) is only 12% Magnesium, meaning there is about 1,800mg of Mangesium AAC powder to hit 210mg active magnesium. This is the same for other ingredients, even Salt itself, is only about 40% sodium. Meaning, if you put 1gram of pure salt, its about 400mg of sodium. Could you explain why this was a concern? Its strange question, especially seeing as the serving is higher, not lower, than the active ingredients. Went from 283 lbs last december to 208 lbs currently. I’ve done multiple 3 day fasts and never supplemented electrolytes. In fact i remember the first time i attempted a 3 day fast during my work week ( my job requires a lot of walking and i walk to and from work so i usually clock about 20k steps a day) i almost passed out in a patients room and never attempted it again lol. now that could of been because of hyperglycemia or just lack of electrolytes OR both but even during my successful fasts i would end up feeling fatigue/ lightheaded/ experienced brain fog and body cramps. I realized that this was probably a product of me drinking too much water and flushing out all of the electrolytes in my body. Long story short. This product is the TRUTH. I put one scoop brain forza in a 16.9 fl oz bottle of water and chugged it. Monitored my water intake throughout the day as i didn’t want to flush the electrolytes out too fast and have the threat of passing out in a patients room again lol. Anyway, brain forza is definitely something i will be using regularly now. In fact it’s given me the confidence to attempt rolling 72 hr fasts even during my work week because of how amazing i felt the first time i used it. I was alert, i felt strong, i literally had zero hunger pangs during the 2nd and 3rd day of my fast which in my experience is unheard of haha. I love it! (Sidenote: yes it doesn’t taste the best, that’s why i chose to put it in a small bottle of water and just chug it as opposed to sipping on it all throughout the day.
