Disney Mix Max High School Musical Personal Media Player

I should've read all the reviews. The Mix Max just didn't work at all. My computer didn't recognize it and it didn't charge at all. I posted a complaint at the digital blue site and they didn't solve anything. This purchase was just a waste of money and time.

For the price it's a good deal. You have to be good with computers to convert the videos though.

My daughter wanted one of these for her birthday we received it quickly and I put some educational videos on it and it plays perfectly.. For people having problems loading videos, the files must be wmv at 355kbps, 30frps. and resolution should be no more then 227x176 you can use windows media encoder to achieve this. Also, you do not have to use windows media to sync, you can drag and drop files because it show up as a drive in my computer.. Hope this helps..

Don't bother. This is junk! It doesn't even work. My poor daughter was so heartbroken! Wouldn't charge. My computer is too new for it. How much sense does that make?

Well I chose a middle rating because I am really not sure what to think. Thank goodness for amazon's hassle free returns and awesome customer service, but as far as the device I was so happy to receive it and surprise my niece after I have put her fav music in it. I charged it in one of the ports of my computer and it didn't recognize the device. I still have windows vista on my laptop...I don't see how it doesn't recognize it. So I make sure that the port that it is hooked up to can charge this thing.(I even tried the port with my iPod and phone. Ok it works.) So I charge it for an hour and check on it. Nothing. I google it and someone had said a couple of hours. So I wait another hour and turn it on. It should have enough charge to let me know that it is charging on the display screen like it said it would say. Again... NOTHING. So I read some other reviews and one person said she bought 2 and on one of them had the same problem as i did and on the other, it charged. So I am at a point where I will be returning this one and waiting for a different one. I hope this doesn't happen to me again. I will update my review when I get one that works ( it will never have 5 stars from me) or i'll be giving it a one star for inconvenience and getting my hopes up. UPDATE: ok so I got the new one and geez, it showed that it was charging the moment I put the cord in. Mp3 music was very easy to put on and also pics too. I ended up just downloading Magic Ripper trial and using that to put movies in since it has a selection specifically for mix max. Just don't close it on your computer since its just a trial. I tried using another video converter and it just got way too complicated. Plus it didn't play. So I have a bunch of songs on it and 2 movies and some pics on a 2gb disk. I can put more on it, just wanted her to play with it for a while before I do that because setting that all up for her took some time. (I had to get music out of my phone and on her disk; Convert 2 movies took 45 min each) I really hope it lasts for her because loves it and being 4 years old she seems to be getting a hang of the controls pretty easily. I am going to keep it at 3 stars because of the hassle of getting videos on there.

Bought for Niece. She thought it was great but shortly after starting to play with it, it locked up and thats where it is now.......

It never did work I charged it for two days and it never worked. I fixed it though I threw it against the wall and shattered it into a million pieces.. Thats what I thought about your product. I read the reviews fro other people on the same thing and they all said it was a piece of junk.

Yes, I knew it was an older product given the theme music included. However I did think it would be able to be used with new music / video. Unfortunately I have tried multiple Disney Mix and Match players now, and NONE of them could be charged. I suggest they all be pulled from the shelves. I was given credit by all of the Amazon vendors, so I am not dissatisfied, just disappointed in the product as it would have been a perfect player for my young grandaughter.
