The photo is just one attempt to scrub them clean with the softer brush. Instructions indicate you can use the cleaner multiple times until satisfied with the results. I feel if I were to use a thicker bristled brush another few times, they would look much better. I only cleaned the one side on the one shoe because I could care less about the current grass stains. You can see they are a little yellowish near the bottom of the sole. Perhaps the harder brush would clean up the tougher stains better. I plan to clean up my favorite Flynits next.
