Tied are in the correct places. Love the buttons instead of zipper. High quality linen. The thickness and sleep quality of linen is so much better for health and a vibrational level. My guests love the duvet and have only received gratitude and compliments for providing a high quality fabric. There was no weird smell upon arrival, and the material washes well in warm/cold and light tumble dry or air dry. I take it out of the dryer while still slightly damp and hung to dry. If you’re new to true linen, it can crinkle easily if dry on high heat too long. Then it needs to be ironed to make it flat again. True to color and size.

I was pleasantly surprised to open up an Amazon package and see that it was wrapped up like a Christmas gift with a tied ribbon that one of my family members had given me. An included brochure of their other products tells me this company really takes pride in what they sell and have gone above and beyond in their effort to make customers happy. The fabric feels soft and cool--qualities typical of linen. The stitching on this duvet cover set is just what I was looking for--short and tight, which I'm sure will hold the pieces together and last a long time. And the pillow cases come with openings in the middle--another bonus for me--so I don't have to worry about the pillows popping out while I sleep at night.😊

I'm impressed. The mint color is well represented in different lighting in one of the product photos, and there were thus no unpleasant surprises when the duvet cover arrived. I'm thrilled to find this product because it's the only one I've found that exactly fits the weirdly sized "full-size" duvet I have from New Zealand. It's well timed because I'm experimenting with linen bedding also, and after an initial wash, I'm pleased with how the cover feels: weighty and slightly rough with some softness that I know will increase over time. Because of the exact fit, I don't care that there are ties only in the corners, but the fabric they use is pretty floppy, with unfinished edges, so the ties are kind of a pain to push through the loops on my duvet. I'm not yet sure about the placement of the buttons about six inches away from the bottom hem. I appreciate the covered placket over the buttons, but it'll take some getting used to the fact that the bottom edge of the cover is not where the buttons are. I wish the shams didn't have the floppy edges that seem to be so common. I find those to be extraneous, but that's a small detail. I did find a number of loose threads along the face of the cover that seemed to come unlodged after my first washing, but I'll trim those and hope for the best. For this price point, I'm pretty happy.

I needed a light colored off white linen duvet for a spare bedroom I had repainted, cream or the linen taupe would not work, needed off white or an ecru color. Thankful for amazons shipping policy as the one I ordered from Kohls was a beige and had to be returned. Thankful for the couple of reviews that said this was truly off white. The quality is great especially for the price.it is not a heavy linen but I didn’t want that. Couldn’t be more pleased with this duvet, exactly what I wanted. Love the slightly crinkled vintage duvet material.

I have a really nice linen duvet cover on my bed, and I love it, so I was looking for a less expensive alternative for my guest room. I would say the quality of this is ok - the material is soft and not too thin, and the stitching, fabric, and buttons held up through a gentle wash cycle. My first complaint is the lack of more ties inside the cover to secure it to the comforter. The process of putting it on is a time consuming nightmare, and the comforter shifts around inside. My biggest complaint is the color. I ordered “white” and I received more of a pale yellow color. It’s not hideous in and of itself, but if any of your other bed linens are white, this looks kind of gross and discolored in comparison. It would have taken me far less time to return or exchange this item than it took me to get it on my comforter :(

Luxury at affordable cost point this duvet looks rich and completes my primary suite’s jewel tone themed palette.

When I bought this duvet, I was super excited. I felt it when it came in, and it is so scratchy and uncomfortable against your skin. It was also falsely advertised as 100% Washed Linen right in the title. It’s not.. it’s a 55% linen + 45% cotton blend. They at least seem to have changed some of the information since then to reflect that, but it’s still wildly inconsistent and says 100% linen some places while it saying it’s a blend in others. I have linen shams from another company that are 100% linen, and they are super soft and lovely. This is in no way comparable. We unfortunately got stuck with it, because the return window ran out when I had to leave town unexpectedly. I’ve tried to soften the fabric by washing with vinegar as someone said that can soften linen. Months later, it is still scratchy and terrible to the point where I can’t sleep with it touching me, so I’m back to square one with no duvet cover. Do not recommend. It was a total waste of money. I am not usually this harsh, and it was on the lower priced end for a “linen duvet”, but it’s garbage as far as I’m concerned and I’m out a hundred bucks that would have been better spent if it were put toward an actual linen duvet. Trust the folks who have said it isn’t soft. I really hope I can save someone the trouble of making the mistake I did in purchasing this.

This package arrived with no brand name identification, and there is no tag on the duvet to indicate what it is made of. There is no way the fabric is linen! It feels and looks like a polyester duvet set. I'm feeling duped by Amazon.

Nice quality

I love these sheets - rich colour. Soft. Has ties included to keep the comforter in place. Slightly odd design with the buttons part way down the comforter - my feet get caught in the material - but otherwise a great product at a reasonable price. They truly make me happy every day.

Have purchased this brand before. This set is far more scratchy. 3 washes in and its still quite stiff but softening (still not near my other sets). Hopfully a few more washes will do the trick.

I purchased the king sized duvet cover set in burgundy red. It was a supposed to be a Simple & Opulence linen cotton blend duvet cover set. I received a king size duvet cover set, but it was not linen in any form and I seriously doubt it was cotton either. The topside of the material was soft and the inside or underside of the pieces had the dark shiny look of a synthetic like polyester or microsuede. Which is fine if that’s what you want, and order, and pay for. On the bright side, the customer service was very responsive.
