Speedo Elastomeric Solid Silicone Swim Cap

Very easy to use just pull down tightly over the head and ears, good quality and strength and durability. Hair length I can’t really say my children have about an inch long hair, which does fine in it. The hair does stay dry the ears do stay dry, which is a plus because they have chronic ear infections and it covers the whole head plus the ears and down the nape of the neck. My mother-in-law has shoulder length hair worked good on her hair. 6 inches I would say is Max for hair length to be comfortable and keep secure of your hair in the head cap.

This worked perfectly, however, only stayed tight for a few swims before it stretched out and got large air bubbles. Apparently that is to be expected from silicone swim caps , from what I read.

My son uses this for swim team. He has a lot of hair and the coach told him that he needs to wear a cap or cut his hair. So may were hard to get on but this one is great! He can put it on for himself and it keeps his hair dry and more importantly, out of his eyes. Super sturdy as he wears it at least 4-5 days per week. It’s a great fit, comfortable for him and is definitely worth the money.

Stays put and feels great for my long cross training sessions. Keeps hair in place and doesn’t slip up at all. Very durable as I have been swimming in it every day for about 2 years and looks brand new still. Size pretty universal as well. Enjoy the photo of me with the nose plug as well.

I had to replace this with another one made specifically for a lot of curly, coily hair. Worked ok at first, then one day it kept slipping and I wasn't able to keep it on during class. Spent half the time fighting with it, ended up leaving it with my towel and had to be extra careful about how far I submerged. I think my hair was tied back that day as usual, had leave in product from a few days prior, and I had rinsed and dried the cap after wearing several months ago when I took a few beginner classes. Can't say whether or not you'll have better luck if you don't need leave-ins in your hair, but check this cap out in person if possible before buying to make sure it will fit all of your hair if you have volume and curls.

I had a pretty bad experience with this swim cap, it would constantly be sliding up my forehead and falling off by the time I barely swam 25 meters. I tried using it with wet hair and dry hair (I originally would wet my hair first but it would just slide off immediately out of the water) and then tried dry hair which kept it on kind of— I would have to be constantly adjusting it and my hair was wet by the end of my swim. It was just simply a pain in the ass to swim with. Also, whenever it got wet on the inside, it would become all slimy! I thought it was maybe some product I had on my hair but even without putting it on my hair and just wetting it, it would just be so weirdly slimy on the inside. This actually got an ‘Ew!’ from a swim instructor at the pool I swim at. I tried two of these, thinking that maybe one was just off but nope! Just sucked for me. Trying out TYR and supposed to be a lot better!
