Updated review: Nice camera with great video quality. Good customer support.
I will leave my initial review at the end of this updated one. I purchased this camera, but unfortunately, it arrived DOA. I contacted the company, and they promptly made it right by sending a replacement. The new camera worked perfectly when I tested it before installation. After using it for a while, I’m impressed with the video recording quality. The interior camera has a wide-angle lens that captures all the seats in my car, which is great since I drive for Uber part-time. The rear camera also delivers excellent video clarity, and the audio quality is very clear. However, I did encounter some issues during installation. The power wires are quite thick, making them difficult to route behind the interior panels of my car. Because of their thickness, one of my panels wouldn’t fully close after reattaching it. Using a smaller gauge wire would make installation much easier. Despite this, I would still recommend this camera, especially for its ability to record from three cameras simultaneously with great clarity. Although the camera is a bit large, I was able to mostly conceal it behind the rearview mirror. Overall, this is a solid camera with excellent performance. This is my previous review: I would loved to have seen how the camera actually worked, but if this is how a brand new camera is shipped Im not sure I want to buy another of this particular brand beacuse I question how it will hold up. The product and packaging itself were of a good build quality and felt substantial. However, the camera would not power on so I had to return it. The camera felt solid and rotated very smoothly, however it was a little bit larger than I expected, and the power cords were extremely thick, making it difficult to fit behind the car trim. The cords seem to be a bit overkill for a dash cam.

Its not a bad camera
Installation was pretty easy (2018 F-150 SuperCrew). Every time I go over rough terrain, i.e. railroad tracks, it beeps like its starting up. Recently, it just started randomly beeping. UPDATED 12/03/2025...I've developed some issues with this unit. First, the front facing camera win not stay in the desired vertical position, it flops up and down, freely. 2nd, it is constantly rebooting it self. It does it if I hit a decent bump on the road or railroad crossings and it will do it on A perfectly smooth road. I'll be driving along and out of the blue it will say "wifi enabled, recording, three channels started". This has also happened twice where I was sitting, waiting on a train, and she started blabbing away. I will say they are pretty good at responding to email support.

Never worked right to begin with.
Read quite a few reviews and found this product to have the features and reliability that I needed. Unfortunately from the start the camera was having issues. I hardwired the camera to my vehicle to take full advantage of the camera however I began to notice that the camera would turn on when started, but often times would fail to begin recording. It was hit or miss if the camera would begin recording and if it didn’t start, manually pushing the button to record resulted in nothing. Other times we would start the vehicle and the camera would begin recording immediately, it just seemed so hit or miss when the camera would actually work. So, earlier this week the unthinkable happened and we were involved in an accident which resulted in no injuries thankfully but when I went to pull the camera footage i come to find that the camera has failed to overwrite the the sd card footage when full as the product was advertised. So since nov-2023 the camera has occasionally recorded but nothing was saved because the sd card was full. So to our loss we have no footage of the accident. Pretty disappointing to spend so much for a camera system for it to not work. I wish i had returned it before it was too late. If you drive alot, or are in a city i would recommend considering another product, the last thing you want is to put your trust in a camera that doesn’t work 80% of the time

Upgraded from A119 - Decent upgrade
Overall I would recommend this dashcam. After using a Viofo A119 for the past 5+ years, which was very reliable and good quality video/audio, I had high expectations. First - the tilt of all the cameras is not enough. The angles of my front and rear windshield seem to be extreme enough (2011 RX350) that I'm at the max rotational limits of the cameras to get the best POV. Still more sky in the shot than I would prefer for the front camera, but the FOV is good that I still capture what's directly in front of the car - I just worry about the picture being blown out to Sun / Lights. The interior camera was much higher quality than I expected, so I've lowered that to the lowest setting. With all cameras at max quality, the math of the provided bit-rate spec would suggest there's not an SD card fast enough available that would support all cameras at max quality and bit rate, so some compromise has to be made. I like the less wires to have the front and interior cameras in the same housing, but due to my placement that I prefer for front dash cam, and the design of the inside of my car, I would like the separate cameras after all. The timestamp is about the same as my previous A119 with additional room for extra text, which I don't use, but it is nice. Each video file (1 file for each respective camera, sync'd) The wifi hotspot functionality is a little finicky. Sometimes I turn it on, make my configuration, and turn it off, and I have troubles starting recording again, even sometimes it'll say it's recording, but upon review later, it did not record. A simple fix seems to be to restart the camera afterwards. I'm using their hardwire kit, and have a second battery in my car for other accessories that I use to provide parking power. So far parking mode seems to be ok, but I don't have enough experience with it yet. Settings seem to be a bit vague to configure active record vs parking mode. I'd like a little more control over it. In general, I would recommend this dashcam, I'm happy with the quality, and have been easily able to read plates. It's a good balance between the lower end, and really high end and find this to be the sweet spot, especially when it's on sale. I purchased for just under $200.

VIOFO T130 - Honest review after a years use!
For over a year of usage with the VIOFO T130 3-Channel Dash Cam, I’ve realized it’s more than just a gadget—it’s my driving buddy. Here’s how its standout features have made my life on the road so much easier: The triple channel recording (1440P front + 1080P interior + 1080P rear) gives me complete coverage, and I’ve already seen it in action. On one drive, it caught a car cutting me off from the front, my kids laughing in the backseat, and a tailgater in full glory. The wide viewing angles (140° front, 165° inside and rear) mean nothing escapes its gaze, which is comforting during rideshare gigs. The Sony IMX335 Starvis sensors and 4 IR LEDs have turned night into day. Driving on dark, rural roads is no longer stressful because the WDR technology ensures everything is crystal clear, inside and out. Setting up the camera was a breeze, thanks to the voice notifications that talk you through every step, from turning audio on to activating parking mode. Speaking of parking mode, the Auto Event Detection saved the day when someone dinged my car in a parking lot. The dash cam captured their license plate, making the insurance process so much easier. The built-in Wi-Fi is a lifesaver. I could quickly transfer a funny clip of my kids goofing off to my phone via the VIOFO app and share it with family. The GPS logger is another great feature, showing me exactly where I was and how fast I was going during certain events. Finally, the loop recording and emergency lock mean I never have to worry about running out of space or losing crucial footage during an incident. I paired it with a 128GB VIOFO high-endurance microSD card for maximum reliability, and it’s worked flawlessly. This dash cam isn’t just a piece of tech—it’s peace of mind. Whether I’m capturing beautiful road trip moments or protecting myself from unexpected incidents, the VIOFO T130 delivers. Highly recommend for any driver!

Nice Dashcam but has had issues
A lot of reviews are right after use/install and everything is grand, so here's a real world review. Initial observations: - Installation/setup was straight-forward process - Using the hard wire kit, each vehicle is unique when trying to find a consistent power source. You may have to add a circuit so it helps to plan ahead. - There are really only a couple settings that need to be changed out-of-the-box (e.g., night vision, wifi connection, etc.) - The audio prompts are piercingly loud...enough to make you want to turn off voice prompts - Suggestion: Keep the LED indicators on...once off, you don't know when things stop working - Camera use is really easy. The video quality is really impressive After 14 months of use: - I have 2 of these units, both have worked but there have been issues - Unit 1: worked great for the first year. Sometime in the last 2 months, the front-facing camera has just stopped working. Connecting to the camera I get an Error -13 whenever I try to do anything (stop recording, access settings, etc.) After talking with support and having limited options to fix the issue, looks like I'm spending more $$ out of pocket to replace it. - Unit 2: Seems to be working ok (no failures so far). 2 minor issues: 1) It sometimes fails to switch from parking mode to drive mode. You can tell when the REC light continues to blink rather than switch to solid on. Requires you "long press" the REC button to switch (which doesn't always work) 2) Connecting to the wifi is really finicky and not always successful Overall, while this camera does work well, having a terminal error where I was completely unaware and there was no indication that failed is very disconcerting. I didn't expect that I'd have to "check" it periodically (e.g., once a month) to make sure it was still working. I did expect it to be installed and work flawlessly for years.

Overall a Nice Dashcam and recommended
Viofo did it again and T-130 is another dashcam with very good video quality One thing I like the most is it is compatible with CPL. Windshield glare is a severe problem for modern day cars and I would only buy a dashcam with CPL. No idea why only handful of manufacturers offer CPL to their dashcams. If you decided to buy T-130, don't forget to buy the CPL for it and you will thank me later. Remember to use faster micro SD (I suggest U3) because the video size is about 120MB (front view) + 80MB (cabin view) + 80MB (aft view) = 280MB per minute. Some complaints with Installation: 1. The cabin view camera is with the dashcam main body, and it may be a little tricky to find a spot on the windshield that provides good front view and good cabin view that avoid the rearview mirror in the frame. 2. The USB cable for the backside view camera is "thick" and it is tricky to tuck it in. Some complaints with the Iphone App T-130 does not have a LCD screen means you must use your phone to change setting or to view the video clips. The Viofo App has 2 stars user review and I think the low rating is well deserved. Some complaints I have had: 1. In order to see the live view and download the saved footage, I must turn on Flight Mode on my iPhone. Only turn on the Wifi and connect to T-130 and this is the only way to make it work. 2. You control your time by GMT +- and it does not have the daylight saving time options that means I have to manually adjust the time zone at least two times a year. 3. Before disconnect the iPhone with the T-130, make sure to set the dashcam "recording on" on the app. Only turn off the connection by pressing the bottom on the T-130. If this procedure are not followed, you will not be able to manually turn on recording. "This have drove me nuts and took me a while to figure out" Bottom line: T-130 is a great dashcam with decent video quality. The installation is tricky and the Iphone App sucks. Not thing is perfect, if you can learn how to use it and avoid the short coming with this dashcam. For the price and overall image quality, I think T-130 is worth considering.

Works but not as expected.
I tested the camera before installing it in my car. When I did it the app would not show me a live view of the camera. It was always a black screen. But it was still recording which was the important thing for me. I though it was maybe that the communication via Wi-Fi from the camera to my phone wasn't that fast so it would never load. I did not mind since I wanted to record not a live view. Installation was easy. Other than moving the cable through the trim of the car was a little hard but I that's normal. It depends on the car i guess. I did not want cables around so it took me about 3 hours to install everything on my car. by removing the weather strip/seal around the doors, and through some airbags and the ceiling of my car. also. about 30 minutes to get the pecfect angle. Since I did not have the live view I had to download the video to my phone, then see the footage and then adjust the angle from the video then try again. took me about 5 tries per each camera. (front, interior and rear) Then the worst happens.. Literally someonw crashed my car while I was at a red light. The light turned green and a lady from the lane next to me just scratched my car. She wasn't paying attention. UNLUCKLY !!!! The camera was not recording. IT LITERALLY STOPPED RECORDING ABOUT 1 MINUTE AND 30 SECONDS BEFORE THE CRASH. Thankfully the scratches were not very deep and I was able to buff it out after a carwash. But this footage would be perfect just in case if I need proof. So the camera was working fine. This happened the 2nd day that I had it installed in my car. So i thought that maybe it was the sd card that was full but it wasn't. After checking the footage, saving it to my computer, I deleted all of the videos to see if that would solve the problem.. Guest what. it didn't. After I put the sd card in the camera again about 7 minutes went by and then started beeping and it wasn't recording. Then it would start recording again after about 30 seconds or sometimes even 2 minutes. I love the quality of the footage, the audio recording its great too, it shows speed and everything. very complete. but those were the two main issues. It would randomly stop recording and then the live view issue that couldve saved me a lot of time while setting it up. Also, if you want the parking mode. Which I did, you have to buy an adapter, which is sold separately. If I would have know I would have order it sooner since that one took longer to arrive. Then when it arrived and I wanted to install it. it says that I have to buy the little fuse caps separately. WHICH THEY SHOULD SAY IT ON THE WEBSITE. cause again. I would have order it TOGETHER !!!!!!! that wasn't cool at all. it just some little caps. that should be included in the "additional kit" there is no point in buying an additional kit if you still have to buy more things after that !! The camera is great. I guess the software of the actual camera and the brand sucks !! I really feel bad and I'm truly ANGRY and DISSAPOINTED because of what happened. And the fact that started giving me problems 1 minute before the crash. I swear to god I can't make this sh*t up!. I could not believe it when it happened. I knew it wasn't recording cause it keeps beeping but I checked the footage anyway hoping that maybe it did. but no! I will most likely be buying from a better known brand that could guarantee me this doesn't happen. I made some videos about this and showing the problems. If the manufacturer needs them or if anyone needs them let me know and I will upload them or send them since I recorded it on my phone.

Very good, it's been reliable for me, (had it on for around 3 years) it's even better with the hardwire kit which is simple to install

Well didn’t this turn out super
So I wasn’t sure when I ordered this, how good or bad it would turnout turns out this is a fantastic dashcam I like that it’s three-way. I don’t necessarily need the internal part to watch me all the time however, it is handy if anything does happen for insurance purposes. The clarity during the day and the evening night is fantastic. I like that it’s available on my app on my phone in front of me straight away.. I did have a tiny amount of trouble working out the app in the beginning when I first installed it. I emailed the customer service team and they got back to me within a few hours with the answer which fix my problem and I’ve had no dramas since then. Installation is very easy. Great all-round products really really good for the price.

Front dash isn't working
I can't believe I wasted my money on this useless dashcam from 2022! It's absolute garbage - always malfunctioning and the quality is a joke. This thing might as well not even exist, it's that bad. I'm beyond frustrated and disappointed with this purchase. I should have done my research beforehand. I warned 4 of my friends not to buy it, but we all ended up with the same problems. It only records inside and back, no front recording. If you're reading this, do yourself a favor and steer clear of this product. Get something else instead.
